What ppm to run in rdwc?

What ppm to run in my nutrient tub for rdwc? I'm using Advanced Nutrients 3-part, plants are in early veg, I'm using led's. Temps, humidity, etc are all adjustable.

Given noones knows what conversion factor your using I would say start with .3 -.5 EC early veg and work your way up weekly to 1.0 - 1.2 ec full veg. .8 - 1.0 ec for the first week of flower and work up to 1.4 ec peak bloom. Some go higher but I never have using AN. The key is to stay as low as you can instead of trying to give as much as possible. These are good numbers to use as guidelines but may vary given strain and environmental factors. The less intense the light the more pottasium needed and a warmer environment like above 80 degrees the more nitrogen needed so you may find adding more of 1 than the other is needed unlike the 1-1-1 ratio AN recomends. I have had great success in using the 123 veg and 321 flower approach with the 3 part. play around with the ratios a bit but stay within the range stated above and you find what your plants like. B52 is a good supplement for veg if you have issues in veg as well. If you do use supplements run them at half of what you use in base nutes. So 1 tsp or 5mls base would use 1/2 tsp or 2.5 mls of an addititve. Start with this and you find your way.

Also another tip is to mix up nutrients in 2 or more gallons at a time because its difficult to measure out for 1 gallon and be accurate. Also about 10 mls/gal of each is the most you will ever use so 1/4 strength would be 2.5 mls/ gal and so on. If I remeber correctly about 5 mls/gal was peak veg mix and I never used much more than 8 mls/gal in flower. Its about half of whats on their calculator and back of bottle.

I think you have your NPK ratio's reversed in veg and flower "123 veg and 321 flower approach" as that is backwards to most growers including myself.

This is what I do. Start low in your feed like the .4 range and check your ph at least twice a day. Watch your PH and if it rises too fast than I would up my feed .1 at a time or more depending on how fast the PH rises. I'm a drifter and I like to start at around 5.2 and don't adjust down til about 6.2, 6.3. After you see ph creeps up slowly, say .1 a day than you're at a good feed strength and can check once a day or even less frequent. Good luck.

Your right bigbuddah its opposite of what I posted. Good catch, dont want to screw someone all up. Here is the correct ratio

3 part grow - 2 part micro - 1 part bloom for veg cycle.
1 part grow - 2 part micro - 3 part bloom for flowering.

I usually start at 400 pmm (.7 conversion scale) and raise 200 pmm every week until i get to 1450. Then decrease in the same manner. I rarely see any burn and I dont have to flush. I average about 3 oz/ plant
