What prices are you paying and what is the quality like in the UK where you are?

Just started growing because of the price/quality of weed available locally to me right now. I can get nice 'named' weed for £10 a gram which is like amsterdam prices but more often than not if amsterdam quality, can get cheese, blueberry, strawberry cough, white widow and northern lights for that price. But it seems the good old days of £20 for a henry the eigth are well and truly over, i can get stuff for 20 an 8th but its always sprayed with some horrible shit and i dont smoke that crap, hate that the market has been flood with this horrible contaminated stuff, and surprised that some people are still smoking it, the governemnt should legalise it really, the people who would smoke weed would still smoke weed, and the people who wouldnt smoke it still wouldnt smoke it! The money saved on policing could be spent better dealing with serious crimes and harder drugs, also would cut the crime and drug runners out of the game. why cant the silly uk government see this, also weed is class b which is the same as ketamine and methodrone (which is a killer) and this to me seems very odd. Espoecially when you consider 10 people die in the uk yearly because of bad reactions to aspirin! Got off the point there but its something i feel quite strongly about! But yeah i can also get some stuff for 25 but the quality is not great, its clean though but usually damp and earthy, not sweet tasting like my choice buds, just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this up and down the uk, or is it just the way it is on the south coast, thanks all

Use to be able to get 10 bit grams, armageddon, cheese, blue cheese, widow etc. But like you said shit thats coming through now is almost always damp, never cured properly, and just hardly any crystals, iv actually stopped smoking, until good weed comes back round, im not wasting my money on that shit.

yeah it is £10 a Gram throughout the UK im guessing unless you know the grower.

my boy has a mate that has just grown some stuff so he sorted £20 for 2.8g which is good for leeds i suppose.

what part of the UK are you from?

Down in dorset, parents from halifax so i know al about leeds, and im a man united fan

I asked how much a half ounce would be as i fancied making some edibles. ½ oz of Blue Cheese is just over £100, that's from a lad who grows his own and is friendly with the guy i get to get it. I'd pay that no problem but last time i smoked it it didn't taste great, not sure of it's the strain or how he grew it but either way i don't fancy paying that much to slap it in a batch of brownies.

growing has to be the way forward really, its the only way for a serious smoker, either that or emigrating to holland

Definitely is. Can't wait to start a grow of my own. Someday, till then i'll just have to find a dealer/grower who's nice and cheap and knows what he's doing

Yeah man, thats a good call, i've been there twice, loved it, amsterdam that is. To be fair though i remember getting a gram of some stuff called amnesia haze which was like 11-12 euros a gram and that was mind blowing, but i also tried some stuff that was 6 euros a gram and it was better than most of the shit you can get around here lol but yeah i think you are legally allowed to have 5 plants on the go at any one time in holland, so defo take advantage of that. UNITED!

im not sure if by law u are actually allowed, because coffeeshops are not allowed to cultivate / buy stock but there is a grey area surrounding this, not 100% sure but maybe somebody can correct me.?

yeah i have been 3 times, the amnesia haze is spot on, i think it does generally go for around 12E mark, along with the other 'top' strains, my personal fave is the sour diesel!.

and yeah you can get rather good stuff for the cheap price too aslong as u know where u are going, and the only united is LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS!

lol, well that wont be happening again for a very long time, what a freak occurance of a game that was, jermaine beckford is good but you dont have him anymore right? i guess a much better team took them off you much like rio ferdinand and eric cantona i have never tried sour diesel sounds pretty awesome though, what was your favourite coffeeshop in amsterdam? i liked coffeeshop 36 and hill street blues they were chillers. Hill street inside is a bit below par but there is a balcony seat, and i actually smoked a fatty whilst making eye contact with a policeman on the other side of the water at the police station which is a pretty awesome feeling if your used to sketching out if u see old bill lol

im not sure tbh i liked Rockerij they are rather good i think there is 3 in total, hill street blues was good, loads of writing on the walls etc.. i just sat on one of the big couches at the back near the windows onto a canal was a good chiller tbh, and yeah old bill just smile at you over there!!, the big bulldog is a old police station too, but u wanna stay away from the bulldog,grasshopper way too overpriced!

half 0s of white widow skunk no1 etc go for £80 or £140 a 0, cheese blu cheese etc go for 100-120 a half 0 or £170 for a 0, the best of the best(and most exclusive) like at the mo jack herer x cheese x jack herer x blu cheese or my g bomb are goin at 130-150 a half 0 (for regulars 90) or 180-220 for a 0 (£150 for regulars). prices are constantly changing but i have noticed a decline in qaulity(mainly from the triads) but increasing qaulity of areas where we and a few other growers sell to(like hackney or stonebridge)

Wish i could get all of that variety, the white widow seems cheap.

And Dava i couldnm't agree more on Beckford, he is nippy got a bit of the defoe about him and i think he will get better, but i think he's a championship player really, obviously moyes' doesnt agree, and he's young so you never know, I used to go and watch bournemouth play when we had defoe on loan, and he was amazing but everyone said the same in the sense that they didnt think he would amount to all that, and he's achieved quite a lot now, so you never know, some players dont develop until they are in there 20's also. Fairplay to leeds, they have done well recently, just hope they dont get up to the premiership if i'm honest with you, better to have the scum elsewhere i say Leeds is a swearword in my family. Yeah i wrote something on that wall in hill street blues, cant remember what now, because i was high. The first place i went in the 1st time i went was the grasshopper and i got 3gs of purple sensi and 3g of some other shit, they shouldnt even sell more than 5 but hey ho, anyway spent 60 euros before i knew it, and was silly because was my first time and as you do ended up buying loads of other grams in different places, think i threw that purple shit in the bin at the airport lol. wasn't my kind of smoke that one anyway, was ok though. For some reason the 2nd time i went went into this place, and after 8 tokes of bubblegum i was tripping balls, just really paranoid and weird, it wore off and i smoked on but was really odd, maybe it was the change in thc content from the shit i was smoking at home and that stuff, but it hit me instantly, my perception changed immediately, lol. I also did some shrooms in the dam, would never again, they didnt have the weak ones or the medium ones in the smart shop we went to so we had to get the strongest ones and they were frickin blue man! Weirdest 3 hours of my life, the first half hour was great, then i started to trip real bad, took a shower and can just remember a couple of seconds of the sensation of the water hitting me, and the next thing i know my friend came to get me out because i had been in there for an hour and a half, just tripping balls! lol. you live and learn. friend request sent by the way pal
