What reflector type is best?

Ayy guys, are air cooled hoods more effective at reflecting light than wing reflectors?

The glass in air-cooled hoods diminishes the PAR. My Cuban, and Colombian, friends say el aguila is the best; but, tienes que tener relaciones sexuales con el calor

I use air cooled hoods and I like them you don't have to set up a extra vent. I'm sure the glass diminishes the light some but not so much that it's going to hurt you yeld.

when you use tenths of a penny in your calculations, it does. Maybe, even when you use dollars. It all depends on your ambient temp.'s and if you have to introduce artificial cooling into your grow environment ( and how much that would cost/ the extra grams you would pull, if you us large-wings.)

They don't reflect any more light, but you can get them closer to the plant. Which, from the plants' point of view, is more light...
