is that rush limbaugh is listed as the 4th most influiential celebrity in america by forbes... this is a sad sad thing, im just glad it isnt glen beck :sad:
 
With all the left wing wackjobs on that list, I think the influential people of the right have to be pretty far to the right to offset that.
 
i really have a hard time believing that, not that they said it, i dont doubt you there, but who the hell did they poll for this? most people around here who dont watch politics dont even know who rush limbaugh is even. Now if we were talking about sarah palin i could see it, no matter what you think of her its impossible to deny the influence she's had, seems like her power is going away though on a good note.
 
When the new season of the Haney Project started this year with Rush Limbaugh they got the highest ratings ever for that channel. Highest ever not just for the show but for the entire channel.

Not everyone thinks he is a nut.
 
Yea but alot of ppl listen to him just for laughs or to hate him ........how many really believe his crap.......yea he is a scary guy no doubt but I dont think he has all that much power.......
 
well i think the thing was based on reach and rating, and winter woman, sorry to say but i dont know or care, stonedpony that is actually very very true, i even tune into glen beck occasionally and count how long it takes him to break down and shed a tear... really! do it! it works.... glen beck is a comedy show when ur stoned, you dont even need jon stewart to make fun of his crazy ass
 
Sorry, I don't watch or listen to Glenn Beck. But, occasionally if I'm trapped in the car I'll listen to Rush. There are more closet conservatives than you know. I'm conservative, but not ultra-conservative. Obviously, or I won't be posting here.

Sounds like the cool-aid kids have got together to knock the right-wingers again. No I guess you don't watch Glen Beck or listen to Rush. you are to busy trying to get on the Orkra Whinny show. LOL go live in your make believe worlds.

the fact that you are so worked up over it just proves that he is in fact influential does it not? never mind his message or whether you agree with him. we are sitting here talking about him on a pot forum, though. i think it's safe to say he has "arrived".
 
th - very true, i was thinking about it in the sense that he had an influence on what i do in a positive aspect, but i suppose it works in the opposite way aswell
 
I think question you should be asking is....who reads Forbes?

and I agree with whoever said we don't need Jon Stewart to poke fun at these people...they do it themselves, consciously or not. But I still watch Stewart because I find him highly entertaining and insightful.
 
LOL it was a forbes article i saw on my yahoo mail home page linked to another list on there... i dont get on my computer and be like "hmm... i wonder whats being said on forbes today"
and i love the daily show, and the colbert report two of the best shows on late night tv...
funny thing about jon stewart, last year he was voted the most trusted news person in the world.
HES A COMEDIAN, THATS THE SCREWED UP PART only like 10% of his show is news, but really, all news is only 10% news anyways
