What Seed Bank Carries Some Of The Best Genetics Hands Down!! (Keeping Pheno Hunting In Mind)

What makes them “much better”?
If you mean photogenic or bag appeal I might concur but
When it comes to Chems with high ceilings it’s apples to oranges
Id be more curious how top dawg compares to lucky dawg being both specialise in chems
The guy who sold me the clone said it was Northern lights and haze. It could make people sick. It made a friend quit smoking for life. I could get the spins sometimes from overuse. This was around 1990 maybe a little later.
That was nl5 haze the one with the "caution label" on it then lol

Sounds like real deal 5hz. Not many of the real ones left around. Your old clone still with you or gone, would be great to see a picture of it if possible please. Thanks.

Just hunt the breeders you are interested in , you can also find out which distribution ( seed banks ) carry their gear.

Mephistogenetics for example - list retailers on their website.

No shit… capitalism sure is a harsh mistress. Honestly they are so many good strains you just gotta grow them right. Select a strain you know/like from a reputed breeder and go with that. Stay away from any bank that has a “hottest strains” list; they are usually marked up with no good reason or they want to get rid of old stock they have. Order from banks that are as local as you can get; the closer they are to your location the fresher the beans should be.
Omg I couldn't agree more. I live in AZ so I only purchase instate, customs can be brutal once you cross state lines. Example , try to send seeds to NM they crush them in custom if they can.

For years you couldn’t get beans in the US unless you ordered from overseas. Now it’s like the opposite; you’ll still get your order from overseas but takes several weeks to get through customs. Never received a “crushed” seed but even the more popular seed banks sell old stock. Like budz says find a strain/breeder you Iike and go with that. Do some research.
Every one who starts out thinks they need to find & grow the “best” genetics but that is a subjective term. There are so many good strains out there now you can’t even really say this one is THE best or that vendor has only the best genetics. They can all be good strains if grow right. I can think if only one or two times I said nope…. this strain sucks. If I give up on a strain it might be due to issues that had nothing to do with lineage. I had more than a few pollen chuckers that hermied on me and seeded out but they were due to light leaks and what not. Sleestack skunk comes to mind but I would try it again if I had those beans. Apollo 13 was meh imho. Barney’s vanilla kush was overly hyped; not bad smoke but nothing special either…vanilla? Aptly named but does not taste like vanilla it’s just a plain old kush.

Here's a fun idea:

You may notice that different breeders have their own versions of the same strain. Are you a big fan of, say, White Widow? --why not grab some White Widow from a handful of different breeders and run a comparison grow? Why not grab WW regs from "this" breeder and put em up against WW fems from. "that" breeder?

That was nl5 haze the one with the "caution label" on it then lol

We had some seed of the early 90s NL5 x Haze, and it was also bred with a Male that used a Female Nevils Hashplant x Sk1. It was the best stuff I had seen since the early 70s, and is the best stuff Ive seen since.
We grew it from 1991- 1997 when a partner ratted me out when he got caught with 500 clones I gave him, and the feds found 750 more I had going inside. I gave him 500 to put on his 2000 acre farm in south central Kentucky. I ended up doing from 1997-2009 with the feds, and lost the strain.
If I could find this strain again, my seed hunting days would be over.

I also had people get mad at me because they swore I put PCP in it. It would make many peopl sick, paranoid, and heavy anxiety. On girl is still mad at me because she spent 4 hours in front of the toilet ry heaving, with heavy paranoia, and swears I put PCP in it. It was also unsafe to try and drive and smoke it. If you hit it, and tried to hold it, it would most likely make you lose your vision for several seconds, followed by extreme coughing, and snot coming out your nose and shit. It was super expando weed, and had the flavor of the finest hash. Every seed was a clone of the next one. There was no variation from what I saw in almost 7 years of growing it. Every plant was a winner. We started out with 15 seeds. I gave them to a buddy to breed, and he gave me half the seeds, and half the weed. I still remember taking the first hit off of it. As soon as I tasted it, and felt the lung expansion, I knew this was the best stuf I ha seen in decades, and Ive been smoking since 1967, and have smoked alot of weed, and lad based original strains. This stuff would stand up to any of them.

I also lost customrs with this stuff. some of my customers were older. In their 60s at the time, and they wanted something to come home, and smoke, and relax. This shit would send them on a mind trip for hours, even with just 1 hit. Made them paranoid. Also if you bred this stuff with anything, it was always dominant in the cross. We bred it with NL1, Hawaiian, and a few other things, and it always took over anything you bred it with. It also took on the early floweing charistics of the Hashplant/Sk1 male. It was done in 6-7 weeks. And funny thing, outside it wasnt done until the first week of November. Really fast inside, but really late in my neck of the woods outside. It was also Narrow Leaf dominant, and had thin stems. Almost no leaves to trim. Very easy to trim. It was a Medium producer.

Ive got a verified Chem91skva cut, and that stuff make the Chem91 look like mids. Good mids have you, but the NL5/Haze x Hashplant/Sk1 was a grade above the Chem91skva cut.
I would give $200 a seed for it, if I could find the exact same stuff., and Id be tickled to death to get it.

Yeah quite a few people swore the original nl5 haze or early nevils haze was laced when they first tried it lol

Its a shame real ww is as rare as hens teeth these days for the most part cos thats another one that would stack up against 95%of stuff today no problem imo

Katsu is going to have White Widow from the 90s available at some point. He just got them going a few weeks ago. Will also have 90s Blueberry, NL5, and AK47. Though Original AK47, and NL5 ( 90s Sensi Version). ( AND Seattle Greg Version ) is available if you know where to look, and 90s AK47 was just restocked a couple months ago. AK47 stands up to almost anything. Especially the 90s version. The early-mid 2000s was also no slouch, but the stuff theyve had since about 2008, is not as good as the earlier stuff.

Ridiculous. Seeds are legal. Except for ridiculous Arizona and their agriculture regulations.

I'm guessing you aren't looking for elite/clone only genetics & old school classics. Pacific Seedbank has the best of them. Dr Greenthumb also sells rare, legit clone only s1s. Those are the two places I go to. AK Bean Brains also and maybe Fleur Du Mal Seeds and then Attitude or Linda Seeds for old school hard to get mainly Dutch/Spain/UK strains. Colorado Sativas has a great list of every affordable sativas and hybrids. The Real Seed Company is best for landraces.

I second North Atlantic seed co. They represent a good lot of breeders. I've used them 3 times with just last week being the third time.
No problems with them. I used to use Attitude a bit but it takes 10 days to 2 weeks to get them where I'm at.
And like others said there are plenty of vendors in the U.S. and Canada that carry lots of great breeder's genetics.
