Okay, I'd like to be able to thank everyone for all the responses, but I can't. Fuck you guys, now I just have more questions than answers. -_-
What should I do with my resin?

I've never done it, so don't judge! I actually have half a zip of Durban Poison right now, so I'm not stressing. I just have always heard people talking up resin, and deciding to find out what I can before I try. As I suspected, the butane plays a bigger role than I wanted it to. I HATE the artificial taste of butane on any herb, I can't imagine it being the main dish.

Exactly......................The cannabinoids on their way to your lungs are sticky if they hit the side of the pipe they stay.........................Anyone that says there's no THC in resin or you don't get high or that the high is from oxygen deprivation and butane are just plain wrong. When was the last time you sucked a butane hit out of your lighter and held your breathe for a buzz that couch locks you for 2 hours. You wanna say resin is dirty............fine it's dirty wanna say it tastes bad..............fine it tastes bad. But don't lie to people. I have a couple friends I give my resin to out of my pipes and they are more than happy with it. BTW if you really wanna find an actual scientific test about this do some research on NORML the have tested the THC content in all kinds of different media. 1 gram of resin from some good weed has more THC in it than most commercial weed. But you have to smoke a shit ton of good weed to get a gram of resin. (respectively)

when i clen my pipe i get a ball of resin the size of a ping pong ball. i just throw it out into the field across from my house.

your mouth taste like a dragon's ass.

Found a way to prove there is THC in resin. Clean your pipe put the resin some water stir it up and test it like you would urine with one of the piss tests you can buy at a pharmacy. I bet it fails hard core.

Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. Just clean out with alcohol or acetone (nail polish remover)
you can do what i did, i took 91% iso alcohol and soaked my pipe peices in that shit for a while then i took a knife and scraped out all the resin putting the balls of resin back in the alcohol. then i took the black alcohol and pured it onto a flat glass bakeing pan and let a fan blow over the alcohol. it evaperated in about 2 hours and i took a razor and scrap up what was on the pan. i stuck it in my pipe and smoked it and got high
