ok i had a prev post called should i flower these? if anybody remembers me. umm i got these 2 plants ones around a month and the other 2 months. the one looks as if the stem is huge but its not its just the leaves at the bottom just died off lol. also there in some miricle grow soil but there was some sandy dirty that the rain had mixed with the soil. also it looks all dark around it because i had a couple big storms here and i didnt want them to get blow over soo i put trashcans over them for protection and took them off as the storm passed. these are grow outdoor so mother nature is taking care off them basicly. at the moment i dont give any nuts or food or any miricle grow shit.

can anybody answer some questions for me?
what should i give them as in nuts, like what product should i use?
should i start to force flower them?

btw i live in new jersey

i know they arent in the best shape but i need some help...

Your soil looks very sandy so chemical nutes will leach from the soil very fast and be ineffective. I recommend digging around the plant where the roots are expected to expand and adding some high quality compost to the soil. Top dress with some aged manure and a good mulch to protect the roots from temperature extremes and to retain moisture. Don't try to force flower them you will just stress the plants. Let them recover from the storm and grow on their own. Fish emulsion and compost tea can be used later when they grow bigger and need a boost. :peace:

I also noticed they are very stretched so you can probably get away with putting a little rooting hormone on the stems and mounding some compost around them too.

what type of soil is good to use?
how much does it cost?
Why do you need potting soil if you are growing outdoors in the ground? Outdoor soil simply needs to be amended, potting soil is a waste of money if you are just going to mix it into your garden soil, there are much more effective and cheaper ways to prepare the earth for planting.
