What should I do with this thing?

I got this free from work. It's a sump pump basin. Came with 2 lids. I didn't need a sump pump basin. What should I do with it? I could store/mix potting soil in it but I already have a container I do that in. It's not a huge upgrade. I could just use it as a trash can. It's bigger than the one I have in my grow area now. It seems too big to use for an aero cloner. Maybe not? You guys got any ideas? I don't do hydro so that's out. It's 2 foot deep 2 foot wide at the top.

unless you have a huge garden, that's just too dam big to keep inside. any plant that fills that up will take up half your area.
i'd use it as a planter outside, could grow pretty big maters in a pot that size

and then i started to think.....that would make a hell of a base for a scrog..........

Yeah my wife wanted to partially submerge it in the back yard, stack rocks around it and make it look like a well. I'm thinking we don't need any more mosquitoes. I gotta find a use for it before spring or that will be it's fate.

Take it back to where you got it from?

I just payed the guys at 1-800-Junk over $600 to haul off a bunch of stuff like that.

Something outdoors is what I would use it for.

Dude you got ripped off. Twice a year in most towns I have lived (midwest) we have what they call city wide clean up (they call it junk days on the south side). You can put as much junk on the curb except certain items microwaves, paint cans etc as you want. City hauls it away free of charge.

I'm in Portland. I probably could have left half the stuff on the street in front of the house and the Meth tweekers would have hauled it off. But I don't want to give them any reason to be near my property. The junk company hauled everything off including big chunks of concrete. They don't pick up paint cans here or else I'd get rid of all the cans I have.

No free junk hauls here.
