feed it now, low ppm's to start and switch to 18/6

Maintain the 24 hour cycle unless you are switching lights. I would feed at next watering a mild solution for seedlings. I feed from day 1. I drop of fish emulsion and 5 drops of b1 with kelp to a quart of water. Or a worm casting shake.

I’m using your mc nutes in my first grow and it’s about time for the first feeding.
I need a little advise and I figured why not get it straight from the source?...or anyone with experience with mc in coco/perlite.
A little background...
I just transplanted 4 different strains into their final homes last night, 6gal pots filled with a 50/50 coco/perlite mix. About 8” under a 600w viperspectra.
Transferred from solo cups about 6” under a t5.
I only “watered in” when I transplanted and added a drop of super thrive just to see if it would help with transplant shock. The t5 was on them 24/0 then after transplanted they got about a hour of the led then 6hours darkness. Now they are in the middle of their first 18hrs straight under the led and for the rest of veg will be this way(18/6)
I want to feed now, for the first time...what should I do? The feeding chart says use 12g/1gallon for small seedlings, is that correct? Should I use any supplements like super thrive or cal mag or wait to see what they do with straight mc first? What should my ppm be?
Anyone with similar experience to this is welcome to help out also if you want!

Where did you see 12g/Gallon? That would fry your plants. From their website they recomend 2g/gallon for young plants. I'm feeding mine 5g/gallon and that is considered full strength. I think you need to look it up and re-read it.

THAT'S 12 GRAMS FOR 6 GALLONS. NOT 12 grams per gallon. Would equal out to 2 grams per gallon.

Where it asks for the amount/size for mixing I’ll assume they mean the 1gal water jug not the 6gal pot, huh?

Where should my ppm be? And I’ve heard conflicting stories about if I should ph or not but if so what should my ph be? And did you use any supplements when you first started feeding? Such as cal mag if you’re in coco, etc?

I;m growing in soil, so I'm not exactly sure of the Ph for coco. I DO have cal mag on hand but what I read from others using Mega Crop you may not need it till late in flower. Some saw deficincies and others havent. I guess it's strain dependant. It's good to have it on hand just in case you need it.

How are they adjusting to the new light have they grown? After transplant you should move them to 2 inches 24/0 under the t-5 with a bit of air circulation. The t-5 keep them warm and promotes root growth which is what you want right now because you just transplanted. They need to recover. After 4 or 5 days then make the switch and see how they do. Also coco is too advanced if you are a beginner. I been doing it for many years. I prefer good organic potting soil. Indoors and out.

I think Coco is a great way to start for any new grower as long as you really do your research before hand and know how to go about it. I know I'm not one to be giving advice being so new and all but I've done a solid 3 months of studying and made sure I have everything needed before I started and I'm feeling good about everything so far. From what I've read and heard and how I'm growing my plants in Coco as far as (Key Things to remember) are...

1.Water with nutes everyday
2.ph for Coco is 5.8
3.coco grow is like hydro and must be treated as such
4.start slow with nutes
5.prewash (flush) coco coir with pH 5.8 water & Calmag before use even if it says its pre washed
6.have a pH pen and TDS meter handy and use them Everytime you mix food

Your way motha fuckin' wrong about coco being "a great way to start" for new growers. Soil is most forgiving and new growers should start there. I think that's what you really meant to say.

Well "peaceful" you left out the part i clearly stated which was you must invest the proper time and study well for it to be successful for first time grower so maybe for the person wanting to just grab a pot and throw in some seeds and grow some bud then yes I'll agree that soil is better for beginning but facts are facts. What's the number one mistake by new growers? Yep you guessed it (over watering) and the great thing about Coco is that it's almost impossible to over water. Another great thing about Coco is that your watering everyday so your in your tent more which I believe is a good thing for new growers like myself as we are able to watch them closer and see the changes (which happens almost daily) (good or bad) and either correct them or make notes on a repeat because everything is going smooth and your liking the outcome. Coco is mostly inert and won’t hold onto nutrients for very long. If there is a nutrient deficiency correcting it is as easy as supplementing during the next watering cycle which is also nice for new growers or really any growers but still goes back to what I previously said which is you must study study study so that way you will know how to correct these potential deficiencies. If your plant gets overfeed a quick and thorough flush removes practically every trace of nutrients. Coco coir is eco-friendly versatile easy and more productive than soil in "MY" opinion and from my research and study's not from my hands on knowledge. Also wanna state that I believe room/tent control would be the number one most important thing before ANYTHING! You get your growing environment to proper humidity and temps while lights on and lights off for different parts of plant life as they change from seedling to veg to Flower matched with great ventilation you can and will be successful regardless of which medium you choose...

Quick update! Finally got back to my babies and the transplant looks like it went good! The screwed up stem on the g13ww is okay now and it’s standing up straight on its own.
I gave all 4 their first feeding, I figured I’d let them get at least a full day of the 600w in the 18/6 light cycle first.
But I fed today...here are a few pics
The light is 24” above the cocos surface
Humidity at 41%
Heat is 84*
Any questions or comments?
I ran into some issues with ph and ppm but I think I did ok!
The 2nd pic was fed at ph 6.4 ppm 434
3rd pic at ph 7.1 ppm 420
4th pic at 6.1 ph and 415 ppm
Last pic at 5.1 ph and 550 ppm
All plants took a gallon to make 20% runoff and I added 2grams mc to each gallon that was fed.
Did I do this right and if not...what did I do wrong? What’s the right ph and ppm for coco cior and if I’m above or below that # why can I do to raise or lower ph and ppm? Why is there such a drastic change if there is 2grams of mc in each gallon of water and all the water came is the same tap water?
