As of right now I got my 2 plants in containers about a little less than a gallon. I am going to start the flowering stage soon, the plants are about 3 inches tall. Is it too late to trans-plant into something bigger?

I agree with grower531....you better let them grow bigger, or the stems will never be able to hold weight

you can start to flower anytime..but if you do.. just do it to tell the sex.. then go back to veg, or your buds will probably not grow for shit..

if you do flower..then go beack to 24hr or 18-4 vegging.. it slows the whole growth by like 2 weeks. just let it get done sprouting all its branches then flower.

and if you transplant them do it now.. and into a bigger pot..or like a 5 gallon bucket...try not to wait any longer. because when the roots get long you almost always end up breaking some off.. which also slows the growth down for a week or so.

i think the size of your pot or reservoir is dependent on the kind of lights you are using. If you are using HID lights then 5 Gal. would be min. - if you are using CFLs or something else, you could get away with a smaller container since you won't be vegging as long (it also depends on how big you want to grow them).

i would recommend switching to 12/12 no earlier than after the 6-8th node appear or no shorter than twelve inches (again - depends on strain, space and experience)
