i got a few questions well number 1 what should i yield i got 3 mandala 8 mile highs in 2gal pots each plus i got 1 special kush#1 same settings. organic nutes for veg 8-4-4 organic nutes for flower 1-2-2 but i got a booster that i used its 0-54-32 and i add the bio bloom 1-2-2 to the mixture with molasses. i use molasses every water, every feed. the room is 3x2 running 430w super agro hps 30% blue spectrum i plant on vegging for 1 month and then flower i am also super cropping and fimming once and lollipoping. what should i expect? either per plant and dry weight please. each strain i listed is quoting 450g m2 so explain that to me . i know when they finish stretching and etc they should be about 3 feet unless i use bushmaster but i want to allow some stretch. i will keep the light about 6" above the plants.

tips to increase yield please.

the 450 gram per meter is per 1000 watt light if you're really good.

i'd say your setup sounds good and with one month veg you should get about 150-175 grams dried

you will yield a bunch of bananas two coconuts a weeks supply of tinned fruit salad and 4 pears. always was and always is a silly question, akin to how long is a piece of string?

I second fisherman pete, there is no way to tell how much you are going to yeild.

the saying goes .5gram per watt is average.. so with 430.. look for around 213g's.

I personally don't look after my grow as much as I should, and still get more than .5g/watt, so I think it's easier to achieve than you think.

And justsayno is right, those #'s are regarding using a 1000 watt light...But I rarely rely on the breeder's info regarding yield or THC content.

as far as tips.. you've been around for a long time.. you know all the book learning stuff.. that's the optimal set up stuff.. so the closest you can get your room into all those optimum ranges, the better your yield..big lights, good ventilation, proper nute schedule, right RH and temps.. everything you can do to get close to those targets will increase your yield.
*I haven't tried any bloom nutes, or other additives - so that may help, but I have no experience with them.. I'm sure others will say it makes a difference, or wouldn't spend the $$ for them.

It sucks that you always get that answer, i asked that question on a thread once and no one had a single answer, like people just forget how much they yield or something. Super cropping, fimming, and lollipopping should give you a lot more of a yield and also some beneficial bacteria like mycorrhiaze fungi, humic acid and liquid seaweed, or compost tea. officially a stoner

Shouldn't think of it as suckin, no two gardens are the same what one of us yields will not affect your yields, a good grow is the sum of all parts, if you dial it in right you will get better yields, it really is that simple and impossible to predict yields, why experienced growers don't do it

here we go again....LOL i really thought you would no all this by now bro....

isnt this what this site is for? its not to sit here and kiss ass its to get different growers opinions on thing. just like the yor calculator it shows the more lumen in a smaller room the less the yield will be on typical average. just like i found out using both 400w hps will decrease my yield and its over 106k lumens with 800w.

http://www.angelfire.com/cantina/fourtwenty/yor/yieldcalcadvanced.htm its says 2 1000w hps will give you 23 oz in 20sqft area.

and you just accept this as truth? yield is about strain and how YOU grow it nothing else

this is why you don't get that answer. i had two plants of same strain side by side, same feed etc, one yielded about 3oz, the other yielded about 3/4 an ounce, after 10 weeks. there are too many variables in the grow and the grower to be able to guess anything. sure there is a rough average of 2-3 oz per plant if vegged for 4 weeks and flowered for 8 etc, but any one of a hundred things can change that to being far far greater, to failure of an epic proportion, in this case being an irony because of how un-epic it is.

no its just an estimate no way anything or anyone can be exact or etc. im just saying i seen a guy do a scrog with 2 plants and got a hp off it with only a 400w hps.

pretty obvious post count and reputation have nothing at all to do with wisdom. people should get reputation for giving good answers....not just cuz they fired out an answer which upped their post count because the original poster promised it....

after that...where's my +rep? pardon me but i don't know how it works...is it the little green dots on above my avatar? how do you give rep????

I've attached few pics. First timer, growing jock horror in hydro, (drip method). i transitioned for two weeks, (mixing grow and bloom organic nutes slowly reducing into ful bloom. Began transition May 24. Starting to see orange hairs, though not evident in these pics. Calls for 9-11 flowering. Does that count Transition time? Should I invest in jewelers glass for better trichrome visibilty to insure proper timing? Thx in advance for any feedback.

i'm with staysmokin. bigger pots ALWAY equal bigger yeild, period, unless you plan on flowering when they're small like in a sog setup. how much bigger obviously depends on the strain and the grow, but i would rather grow 2 plants in huge pots rather than grow 3 in smaller pots. if you're going to veg for more than 3 weeks, get the biggest pot you can fit. if space is an issue you can get the square shaped pots which fit better even when they are large. i always end up with 1 more female plant than i planned (the horror lol) and it always ends up in a smaller pot and it always looks stunted next to the others, and the fan leaves always die off sooner, which leads to a bunch of those damn popcorn buds and a significantly smaller yeild. this is particularly frustrating if the stunted plant ends up being an awesome pheno (i haven't mastered cloning yet). at the end of the grow i always end up wishing it was one of the other plants in the small pot. so my fancy advice is to use bigger pots and get square ones or tall ones if you need to.

its the star at the bottom below the advatar and that green dot is your reputation per 100 until you get higher up.
