What size cfl bulb for grow room lamps???

Hey there, I recently purchased 2x 10 1/2 reflector lamps. One for each of my 2 week old OG clones. They have been under 24 hr light since I got them. Ill be switching to 18/6 in the next couple days. Ive been using 14w 5000K cfl bulbs in each lamp. Inside the box the temp is 78-83F. I've been reading up on a lot of posts and im sorry if this has been answered somewhere else but all I know is that my setup isn't providing enough light. What cfl bulbs can I use to give my plants sufficient amount of light w/o breaking the bank too.

IMHO, the most eficient CFL bulb you can use. Are the 26w, 1750lumen, 2700K, Great Value 3 pack from walmart. It's what I use. Here, there's a TONE of info on all sorts of CFL's in here. I bet you could benefit from this quite a bit! Hope it helps!

6500k are for veg and 2700k are for flowering. Check out lowes or Home Depot for good deals. I bought a 4-pack for about 9 bucks at lowes of some 6500k. But if you don't want to buy new cfl's once you're ready to flower go ahead and get the 2700k.

Thanx alot guys. I'll grab those bulbs tom. Surprisingly they are growing pretty fast with these small bulbs. With the 26w 6500k for veg. How many weeks until I switch to 2700k? Or if I went with 2700k right away would my vegging time be shorter?

A 2x3 box in my closet. I have about 6' of headboard space

I would say start flowering once it's about 16-18in. it's gonna double in size while flowering.

I would say that you most definitely need to look into doing some LST with your plants. If your growing with CFL's, LST is an amazing/easy way to significantly increase your yield.

Yes very true. I actually read up on LST. I really wanna do it but Im kinda scared cuz its my first grow. But right now is the perfect time to start training them right? 2 weeks old? Also, my leaves are curling and have small brown spots. What should I do?
