What Size Pots To Use For Home Made Aeroflow?

I'm buiding my own aeroflo using 4" pvc pipes, I want to do sog and trying to figure out what size net pots to use, I have 5ft of pipe that's useable for growing and debating whether to use 12 3inch pots or 20 2inch pots, what do you guys recommend?

How far apard should I put the pots? I'm using 1000kw hids so penetration isn't a problem, I just want to grow a bunch of colas

On my aeroflo 60 site... Center hole to center hole measurement is 8"s and i can only veg for about 20 days or plants get to big... I mean... I guess... It doesnt matter... I just wouldnt want mine any closer

Have you ever tried 8" PVC?
