What soil to get?

10 lowryder seeds on the way. An indica strain, white widow I think...

what soil do you reccomend?
Also, anyone know how to do lights for lowryders?

fox farm ocean forest soil works great.... i also tried to order from dutchbreed.com over the weekend using paypal and it said the recipent (dutchbreed) are not able to recieve money. did this happen to u? i was tryin to order the mini thunderfuck

Anybody use Top soil? We're getting a ton of it tomorrow so I'm thinking of using some.

i use fox farm ocean forrest ( cuz its the shit) but any and all dirt can be made to work from adding worm castings to perlite or vermiculit (i recomend the ladder) bone meal blood meal and meny more it just mater if you can get the good stuff or just whant to use the top soil withe some sand and vermiculit and water it with good nutes (not mg or scotts but somthnig met to grow big good plants (i use botanicare pure blend pro i use the hyro forula in soil it work real good and you can fallow the feeding program so much esaer) but any good nutes will work but from whut iv seen top soil has a tendecy to compact in pot and make it hard to water but the only way to know is to try so good luck young padawan

Promix Bx is what i use. it comes pre buffered with lime so its ph stable. It also now comes with "micocorise" which is a helpfull fungus that colonizes the roots and helps the plant. Thats what i use. But im sure the fox farm stuff at all the hydro shops is good. Make sure you ph your water so that the first 15 ml of runoff water are in the correct range. (Most likely ph down since promix is buffered with lime at about ph 7

I'm in Roots Organics soil at the moment. No complaints. Plants seem to be loving it.
