I like the miracle grow Moisture Control potting mix. The trick with mg is not to overwater and don't feed until the roots FILL the pot.

As stated before Ocean Forest will do the job but it might be a little too "hot" for seedlings. You might want to try a soilless mix like Pro-Mix because the PH is already neutral and you can add bat guano, earth worm castings, etc. as you need them. And another good thing about Pro-Mix, if you use Advanced Nutrients the PH and PPM will be exactly what's on their schedule.

Hope that helps.

I have never had a problem with "Too Hot" and seedlings. But this time around I used fox farm Light Warrior. It already has perlite in it.

i cant get foxfarm in europe? what can i get in europe?
hey milky i had the same probs i used arthur bowers for my first grow. it was for sale in morrisons got the one with a low ph, hope this helps.

i also found this on compost corner so thought i would add it for you....

A bag of biobizz coco
A bag of worm humus, (I got Biobizz - you can use whatever is available)
A small (20l) bag of BioBizz pre-mix
A bag of perlite

The secret weapon is how we mix the "zingy" organic mixture.

Ratios are as follows;

Coco - 50%
Worm Humus - 25%
Pre-Mix - 5%
Perlite - 20%

and you can buy online.

good luck with your grow.
