What strain is this, Skunk?

I recently smoked some very nice herb a friend grew from a cutting. The bud was light green in colour and really smelly. It was nice to smoke through a pipe with an immediate head rush. He tried a scrog and said it just wouldn't stop growing and apparently the buds were massive. He had a Mother plant in a bucket that reached about 5ft x 3ft. Do any of you more more experienced smokers/growers know what this strain is likely to be?

Sounds like the growing traits of a big ol' sativa... Probly is some sort of "skunk" variation... With no pics of the growing plant, it'd be awful hard to say conclusively. But, if itz doing itz job, then it sounds like a nice one, whatever it may be...

no way to tell dude...if I could grow it out, study it's growth pattern, nute requirements, and then spend some time smoking the buds and the ice hash from the trimmings, MAYBE I could give you a vague guess...yours sounds like a hybrid, which would make it exponentially harder to identify, compared to a landrace...

I think you're right, there are too many variables. - It was so nice it makes me want to experiment a bit more. Probably will now so, thanks for that.

Skunk #1 pheno :-)
YUPPERS!

Ex Cheese is simply a pheno of skunk 1.......Same as Dog Shit, Cat piss, Burnt rubber, Road Kill....The list goes on and on. One of the most prolific terp profile strains, pheno wise ever!

Word is that 3 fellows (breeders of note) took about 10 years to recover the "Road Kill" pheno... This came directly from the one who isolated it's mouth too. Along the way they found some of the other pheno's of great desire. I wish he would have found he Cat Piss and Dog Shit though...Maybe he did, Have to ask him.......

Too close to original landrace genetics hence the crazy diversity from skunk #1 im guessing :-)

Took 7 years to find out?
To explain, a few of my mates have been growing this same plant for many years, well over a decade, they didn't know what it was and none of them use the internet so didn't have a means to find out. All they knew is nobody wants to smoke anything else locally because it is a triple AAA grade super dank stink bomb of a plant, it just doesn't get any better.. Having now done some research I am convinced it is an original Exodus Cheese strain 1. because we live where Exodus Group was formed, and 2. nothing much else touches this plant for terpenes and potency. If you haven't smoked a joint for a while three puffs is all you need.

And that is why cheese seems to be the Uks favourite weed for the best part of a decade now, such a shame it wasnt something a little less brain destroying and a bit more sociable :-)

Ultimately it is the best value for money in the UK because prohibition exists. All day smokers with saturated THC receptors need potent plants or they can't get high.
