I am thinking about starting my plants in the aerogarden just until they start building their roots then moving them to soil inside. would this shock the plants too much?
yes it shocks the plant but it will make it my buddy MRhydroponic did it ask him if u need more info. his plant survived but it lost about a week of growing due to the shock
you should keep it in hydro. they have these hyrdo pots, i forget what they are called but its really cool. its a pot with its own water tank at the bottom. all you do is hook up an air pump and add the nutriens and your good to go. i think the pot comes with the air pump and some rocks as a medium. its pretty cheap to i think about $55 US. look into that.

it would likely be the other way around, start in soil and then move to AG. Be carful to not destroy the root system. Its possible that they would like the AG Deluxe better than dirt. Aeroponic and all.
