What temp will i need a Cooltube?

I'm going to get a 600w mh when would i need a Cooltube what temps/humidity

Depends man I have a 400w cool tube cause my temps where way to high and the cool tube bought it back down it was 32 degrees celcious and now it's 21 do u have a setup going ? If so tell me all about it

People usually get cool tubes when they have limited vertical space for a hood to fit, are growing in a vert setup, or when they turn on the light and the temps are hitting really high numbers and they cant get them down. Humidity isnt really a factor when choosing to tube or not to tube.

I'd be pretty sure you'll need a cool tube or air cooled hood with a 600W in a 1x1x2. I'm running a 250W HPS in a tent roughly half the size of yours (1.8m x .8m x .55m) and without the cooltube id be fuuuuuuucked even with my extractor fan which is strong as fuck. It wont have anything directly to do with humidity (although hotter temps will increase the humidity) so it's really just about keeping the temps down.

A 600w in a 1x1m/4x4ft tent is going to need air cooled hoods in all probability.
I had the same set up...temps around 30oC/85F or higher!...air cooling brought them down to 25oC/75F...
Cool tubes do tend to concentrate the light down the middle though, not too good at the light distribution, which is why I went for air cooled hoods rather than tubes....
