whats this? before last week when I topped my girls they looked fine. I also got a new lamp around the same time and put them under it at 50% so I didn't think it was a light bleach but 5 out of 6 plants are looking like this the only one that looks fine still is my og kush but the odd thing is og kush is very sensitive to ph change and yet it looks fine altho it might need a bump of K. there is a little purpling but never the less its green unlike the rest please help if worse come to worse I still have beens from the other ones except criticalxssh and this one I was pretty excited about :sad:photo.jpg

Well if I had to guess it wold be you put young things under an HID lamp and left them there to long. But since you don't tell us any specifics and without specifics about the light they were under and the new lamp you transferred them and where the lamp is placed and what the substrate you are using is, what nutrients, the environment etc... it's all just guesses and that won't help you.

wow you have destroyed that lil girl. first thing is that she don't need any nutes untill its way older. toping her that young will stress the shit out of it and will most likely turn hermie on you. just put the light on it and leave it alone untill it dries out then just water. it will tll you what and when she needs. over kill will kill.. lol

hahahah, check this out :D cotyledons ripped off still growing, they`re flourishing
Once they got a little leaf or two the cotyledons are done with, not a loss. They are just little starch feedbags that get the plant above ground and in the sunlight.

ive had them in a tent with a 400 watt mh my other girls I had in there are about 4 feet so I had them off to the side for the last 3 weeks. the cxssh was on its 6th node and I toped it on the second like ive done with several other grows so no not retarded I bought a another 400w mh/hps lamp so I have a veg room and flowering room i moved them into the veg room and put my other girls in the tent into flowering and they are looking perfectly fine I have a blue cheese, mk ultra, fruity chronic juice, and this in the picture the cxssh I also have a clone of bubba 76 taken from one of the girls I put in the flowering tent. and it was looking just fine then I moved it to the veg room and the bubba, f.c.j, cxssh, b.c, and mk started to look like this but the og kush still is heathly and green so it hasent be effected at all there in a 5 gallon square pot with a 50/50 mix of ffof and happy frog with mikros added I still haven't fed them at all because I plan on top dressing with super soil and other amendments its all organic I ph my water at 5.8-6.5 more so 6.5 . this is the first time ive seen this happen and it reminds me of a ph flux but the neckrosis is so sudden

Yeah, sometimes they just get mean. I think your plant will be fine. Keep her out of reall intense light, watch your watering, do not feed..That new growht actually looks pretty promising. You did top it a little early, but it will just take longer to recover. Keep us possted.

Topping will NOT do that to a plant.... That is a severe case of either a lock-out (too many nutes) OR they are starving... BOTH one in the same- the plants are not eating...

FLUSH the plants real well- then add-in nutes at the right dose for whatever week they are in... let them veg at LEATS long enough to completely heal and get new growth..

People top plants all the time with good results- IF DONE CORRECTLY and at the right age for the plant... right before 12/12 or IN 12/12 is a huge no-no...

Not knowing what soil you are using, the nutes you use, or what schedule you follow- hard to help any further!

its a ph problem there back to full vigor and there new set of leaves are crumples signifying ph flux my concern was why they turned white ph lock out would be more of a rust color and would have deposit spots from nutes and theres really no nutes in the soil to flush out im all organic so there wouldn't be any salt build up thanks tho...edit: buildup not lock out

and a fyi you can top ur plant up until the 2nd week in flower ive had really good results in the first week of flower the stretch really blows out the tops or instead of topping you can supercrop which works even better.

Way to go bro, a little reading would have helped ?????????????????????????????, you topped on the first node you full retard bro ??
Listen to spaceivaders, man. Never go full retard.
What hate? If you're refering to the 'full retard' comments then you may want to watch this http://goo.gl/zg2Ar
Your stoner senses may be failing you
lol, no I only agreed to not going full retard. You've projected the rest yourself ;)
Guys, what you're doing is NOT what RIU is about!!! It's about helping the n00bs and learning a few things along the way...we've all been there, and if you say you haven't, you're either very lucky or full of it, so if you're going to be dicks at least be constructive dicks and give the guy some info on saving his plant. :hump:

With that said, dude I'd flush it with PHed water, and leave it alone for 3 to 5 days and see how it does and go from there, and when you add nutes for the first time about 1/4 strength to start and work your way up...good luck man..

Uhmm, not true, you don't want to top while in flower because it will not really grow to well from there, because the branches can't mature while it's being stressed to start flowering...example...this one grew into the light durring the "stretch" period, and topped herself in the first week of 12/12..poor thing...lol

but this 1 matured her branches before flower..
