What the fuck is going on in your life right now?

I'm starting a new job on Monday and starting class after 6 years off in May, looking forward to both. I'm hoping to lose some weight this summer and successfully keep it off next winter. And I'd like to start building my tiny home by the end of this year.

I was listening to Georges St.Pierre on the Joe Rogan Experience and he mentioned how he's got clear goals in his life other than fighting and becoming the world champion and how every day he works towards them. I was wondering, do you do the same thing, active visualisation of achieving the goal, active acknowledgement when you do, celebrations, step by step systems, that type of stuff? I seem to just glide by in my life without really any substantial goals outlined, I feel this might be one of the major reasons certain things seem very difficult for me. With no clear cut finish line, you're always going off onto many different tangents, I notice a lot of people who have those clearly outlined goals in their mind who spend years working towards them tend to become the best at what they strive for. The people at the top of their industries are people who have been working towards earning that position since they were kids. Artists, musicians, actors, usually the top people knew what they wanted and that was it, they went for it and never took no for an answer. Those most successful see what a normal person would accept as a dead end as a detour, a different route to the same goal.

I am also going to cut back on alcohol intake and increase THC intake

Im right on board with getting into better shape. And consuming less beer will probably have to go hand in hand, as I really only have a beer belly a little bit.

i'm waiting to hear back on a state job. last week i brought my change to the bank and ended up with more than $290 from about 7 years worth of change. i'm getting a gut from drinking so much beer while i'm on an herb break.

i don't really do goals but if i get this job i'll be going back to school on mostly the state's dime and using the job experience to land some kind of career. i finally understand that for me job security is way more important than net pay as long as i avoid straight up scab wages. i've never had a job where tomorrow was guaranteed, even if the pay was great. i need to be able to know that i can count on x amount of pay next month, and the month after that. no more shit call center metrics that change every 2 weeks with the shitcan looming over me.

waiting to get stoned so i can go threw another 2 job hunting postings. so far its 0/5. thinking about getting stoned anyway and just talking myself up to all the job hirers

Started new job last week, going sweet, great time schedue and the miss took up a job too.
Got some plans going to exploit my climate system which I'm still expanding with stuff like distance sensors for automated lamp heights, per pot moisture sensing and watering system.
And while watching my plants remotely I'm fine tuning the software for it.
Got my Co2 sensor up and running, and was currently attempting to hook up a servo to controle the valve for release of co2.
Gave up on the gym the other month, got boring ... i dont drink, just smoke a lot, been pondering quiting on regular smoking.

Just lost my job over bullshit. Started working at this new restaurant. I'm a cook by the way. Worked there for free helping them fix the place up so we could open and i could make some money. About 40 hours of free work. They promised me and the other 4 cooks alot of money when we opened and business picked up. Opening day......slow, first month......better. Then we started to pick up alot. Everybody else who were there at day 1 were fired, I was the only one left. Boss promised me nice raise to keep me around longer. Then all of sudden i got fired out of the blue by a new guy (not even the boss) through text message saying they the boss didn't like how i closed. I had been working in that kitchen for $8 an hour by myself working all stations while stocking, prepping and closing the kitchen by myself (which included straining two friers every night). Then at the end the night a manager would come in, check behind me to make sure i closed right and didn't miss anything then sent me home. Got nothing but compliments from everyone then thrown out without a proper explaination from the boss. So he pretty much canned me and hired someone else for $7.50 instead of paying me what was promised. So now i'm on the job hunt. Waiting for a call from an interview yesterday right now. Smoking a lot of weed and listening to a lot of Lupe Fiasco (Friend of The People I Fight Evil). But i'm still in high spirits.....get it? Sorry. Trying to get in shape for summer myself. If i get this job it's gonna be a 9.5 mile bike ride there and back everyday so that'll do most of it. If i can get a job soon i plan on starting my first grow soon. Have all the materials, cabinet completely set up and seeds ready. (Sativa Seedbank Full Moon) Can't wait to put in soil and let take off.
