What the heck is this?!

I keep checking for preflowers, trying to determine sex.
And I noticed what looks to be two preflowers in the same spot.

What's that mean.. Definitely male, possible Hermie?

Do females do this?

Not absolute sure. But, possibly male preflower. Don't rip it just yet. Either wait to see how they develop. Or let someone more experienced tell you. I'm still on my L's really.

my vote is male, barring a deformation the female will have one or two white pistils sticking out even very early on. But give it a couple days to make sure. Male will usually show first

There's about 4-6 preflowers.

Most of the stipules are very sharp pointed, and crossed, and most of the nodes are even. (wives tale signs that it's female)

Some nodes are uneven (growing out if the stem at different heights)

When I look at the preflowers they're kind of a banana/pear shape. Not spade shaped. But not one has a pistil yet.

I transitioned from 24/0 to 12/12 over a 6 day period, and a couple days into the transition I noticed the first preflower showing.

I guess it's too soon to tell still. The seed broke ground mid April.
