What the hell? Came home from work to this...

Any ideas? It's only this one plant out of the 6 and the rest are fine. What could have caused this?

To me, all the pics except 4 look like the start of a burn.
Did you recently feed?
We need info man.

What's odd is that I've treated all 6 plants the same and it's only two plant(after closer inspection I saw a couple small spots on one leaf of another plant), I do know that the Sphagnum Peat Moss I used was a bad idea but this is the first sign of any discoloration(w/ acidic Ph, shouldn't I have seen this sooner?). I did feed them recently, but I always air on the side of caution and give highly diluted nutes, so I don't think it's a nute burn. At first I thought my lights were too close, but being CFL's I can put my hand almost touching the light and feel little heat. I did recently use ST and some diluted Epsom salts. Though again, I don't know if that could really be the problem considering that that's nothing new. Oh and the plants are about 58 days old, had some stunted growth in the beginning, sorted it out and had very little problems until now. =/

usually when nutrient burn happens you can see it starting a cpl days before it starts to really yellow and burn the leaves, you can literally see the water that is in the plants veins is to salty and its burns the plant through, this doesnt look like that. if it was nutrient burn the inside of the leaves would be burned to because the water travels from the roots to the stem through the leaf out, i Think somethin was poured onto that yellow spot on the leaf and burned it that way.JMO...good luck

That's pretty much what I was thinking too, just wasn't sure if that could even be the case. I've seen a lot of nute burn pics, and this didn't look like anything I'd ever seen in that department. Could nutes/superthrive/epsom salts do this do you think? Regardless, I appreciate the replies, RIU is hands down my first and favorite place to go for info and help! Thx guys.

its absolutley possible, all that needed to happen is when you were watering you accidently dumped a little of the nutrient solution on the plants leaves and didnt notice, they then dried and burned under the light and warm conditions of a grow room, best ofl uck friend. peace

This was key in my feeling that this was something odd, I checked them around 5pm earlier and they looked fine, got off work around 11:30pm and the spots were there. I suppose it is possible I could have overlooked the spots when I checked them, but I know there were absolutely NO spots the night before. So in short, you've put my mind at ease. =) I'm still going to keep a close, close eye on them and see if it spreads or gets worse in any way, but personally I'm thinking you hit the nail on the head there. lol

yea ithink itll be fine, if it bothers u that badly take some scissors and just cut the yellow parts off, they are useless to the plant now anyways and will never green back, the plant has shut down that part of the leaf and it wille ventualy just fall off on its own, either way dont matter
