i was browsing the tude and checking mandala stuff and i see that their prices have skyrocketed. april of '10 i got a 10 pack of satori for 20 bucks. that same strain is almost 60 now for the same 10 seeds. i always thought they were worth more than what i paid, but not 12 bucks a seed. their appeal was always the bang for the buck. now they're just another seed company with decent shit. i do not approve.

yeah man inoticed attitude seeds slowly pushed mandala's prices up, first by $0.75 then weeks later a couple $$. but mandala has A+ genetics bred from there own landrace collection, grown 100% organic, and pollenated sparsely. its still worth it. but ibuy directly from them so im goodie in the price department.

They raised their prices in dec last year. Seems like I paid about 28 bucks a pack in mar 2010. I'm glad I got 5 packs now. Looks like I'll be making my own seeds.

Man the Satori's were only about $20 a pack? I was thinking of getting some, but going with nirvana cause I could get 2 packs from them for the price of 1 pack of Satori. What a rip, cause I heard Satori was an easy first time grow with an nice taste and up high.

i had great success with the satori. i would say it's on the easy end of medium difficulty to grow, and the taste and the high were as promised. i was beside myself at the price when i purchased them. a year ago EVERY SINGLE ONE of their strains were 20 bucks for 10 seeds, and the reviews are always good. after paying that price 12 bucks a seed just feels like a ripoff, i don't care how the plants come out. you just don't go and triple prices in 12 months just because people are starting to notice your shit. maybe that was their plan all along. bastards.

just for shits i went directly to the mandala website and checked out some of their authorized sellers, and i found the prices to be much less. everyonedoesit and seedboutique have them for 42 bucks, which is still double what i paid last year. i found a few more companies in the 55 dollar range. who the fuck does attitude think they are? they must really think their shit don't stink to be that ballsy with their pricing. between this shit and the whole hacking fiasco(s) i really don't think i'll be placing many orders with them. it's a shame because i find them extremely trustworthy as far as actually recieving my product, but damn.

Im in the same boat with tga since they left breedbay. There prices doubled. Its even cheaper to get them online rather than from a local represenative.

you can get most of Mandala's gear on seedbay for $36 for 10 seeds - that $3.60 a seed
but the satori is pricier, $50, but a few new strains are cheaper than the $36
but that's as long as the stock lasts, seed drops there seem to happen a few times a year

I got a safari mix freebie pack with one of my Seedboutique orders and given what resulted from that pack, I wouldn't give them any business in the future. Vigorous veg, good yields in flower, average smoke and below average aesthetics :(. On top of that, one of my keeper males hermed and threw white pistols :-?.

Maybe the safari mix doesn't accurately represent what the company has to offer but in a market with so many choices, you'd think you'd want to put out something better to entice more business.

Mandala seed shop is only open 6 months out of the year, from January to June, and last go around they had on their website , minimum order $100, they never done that before, the excuse was they were busy working on seed projects,ect.. About 2 months ago I sent an email asking Mandala would that become the norm...I never got an answer back so I expect the same $100 minimum order this January when they open again. As for their Satori, I think its their best strain, but I've only grown Satori, Mandala #1 , and Kalichakra. Kalichakra is WEAK. Supposedly it was re-worked about 2 yrs after I grew it but I won't take no chances on it again. Satori is worth going to the trouble to breed seeds, I keep a 10 pack in my fridge stored in a bottle of rice, when I get ready to sprout them I'm making seeds with them.
