He was making a joke. But in a high humidity and temperature environment you can get bud rot by burning a cola. Any injured vegetation can be an invitation for the fungus crew to do what they do in nature, break down organic material. They are part of the decay cycle.

When you run it … keep it from walls - it needs to have vents unblocked … dump water regularly to stop any mold or mildew . Keep unit clean vents and all. They work pretty hard pulling in damp and exhausting air.
Reason i wanted to see your grow area was to see if ambient areas are showing moisture/ mildew or similar high humidity. I have seen grows with wooden tiers blackened with mildew , or unprepared walls ( basement , etc ) just displaying moisture problems.
Even simple risers to your plants can help circulate air around plants and keeps containers from cold moist flooring.

Thanks will certainly look into that but I'm hoping it doesn't come to that my OG kush has just started some amber tricomes definitely not quite ready but smokable and my other pineapple chunks looks really healthy that's why I asked should I pull the one plant that had the 2 buds with rot or just keep an eye on it both the buds that had rot had dead sugar leafs sticking out which I hadn't noticed but now I know what I'm looking for and none if the other buds have any dead sugar leafs sorry to keep bothering you just would hate to lose this crop as it's my first and I've spent quite a bit of money to buy my setup but every gram of smokeable weed I get saves me £10 so even a smaller yeild is not a compete disaster but losing it all would beHate seeing plants go to waste
