What the hell is this?! (Pic)

So out of no where these two ugly spots show up. The rest of the leaves look fine and even the leaves with the spots are fine other than those spots. The spots are really dry and cracked. Not sure if my boyfriend got nutes on the leaves or what cause I told him to be careful not to or if its the nutes in the soil that are the problem.

sometimes if a plant is close to the light. and you get water on the leaves. the water magnifies the light and cooks it. not sure but thats what i think.

I was kinda figuring that's what it was cause I've done it before but my boyfriend did it way worse this time lol. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything with the nutes or anything.
