what to do about the rain?

I've been cursed with powdery mildew this season due to Oregon's dreary and wet spring offering perfect temperatures and humidity for spore travel. Diluted neem oil foliar and drench applications do a good job controlling and eradicating it but I know from experience that if I can't totally beat it during the hot weather period I'm going to lose some bud to mold as the weather cools around harvest time.
That sucks Mado. Been like that around here also. Neem oil as a drench. I thought I was the only one around here that use's it as a nutrient as well as pest control. LOL

If your plant can get 6-8 hrs of direct sun a day, thats all they need. They actually appreciate some shade time. Things are still happening when they are in indirect light.

direct light is always better then indirect light...... everyone can agree on that... whats more debateable is whats better morning sun, or afternoon sun.... some say morning sun cuzz plants start and finish blooming 1-2 weeks earlier then same strains grown under late afternoon sun... they also say morning sun is better for mold issues cuzz it dries off the morning due... those for afternoon sun prefer it because the sun is more intense from like 11.am-4;30 pm...... BUT IF YOUR GETTING BOTH MORNING AND AFTERNOON SUN THEN YOUR IN GREAT SHAPE!

yes i do get both very very well. im on the south side of a mountain at the bottom and live on a big ass hill lol you cant get much more sun than that. morning sun by the way is better. plants need to wake up as we do and get adjusted to the surrounding nature. like humans we have to take our time waking up. you cant just take us and put us in the sun in the afternoon cause your eyes will be real sensitive and hurt and all and all the plant has to gradually get more and more intense sunlight throuhout the day so he was right getting both morning and aftrnoon is wonderful

and yeah i mean i know it still gets light through clouds it just seems like such a change as if it would stress the plant some. cause yesterday it was very sunny with no clouds and now all day its been cloud cover.

that still would work fine. as long as its not like you keep your plants inside during night or under a tent or whatever and sleep too long and bring them from darkness straight to afternoon sun could damage it.
