What to do next???!!!???

As a first time grower and self proclaimed. " NOOB No nothin" .. yet... lolol, in my trying to learn to grow. I learned about something called Low stress training (LST) and also "cropping" i think... (whatever it is when you cut BETWEEN two nodes??? And create two more area's.. lol??? So I thought.." what the heck .... you dont / won't know until you tried so I tried .... the results are on going and pics below. This pineapple express is in her 8th day of flower and she lives in a 2x4x5 tent... and when woke her up this morning she popped out.... she's in a 5 gal DWC and she is over 2' front to back (pressed up against back and now front) and is 2 1/2" side to side.
Question is ... since she is starting the 2nd week of flower... is it too late to continue to low stress train??? Can I tried and defoliate or is it too late??? (But I'm kinda not sure how to or more accurately WHAT defoliate)??? I think I should have gotten a bigger tent...live & learn i guess...

Thanks guys

You could continue to LST through the stretch period of early flower but it doesn't appear you have any room to do so. Low Stress Training works by pulling tall stems down to the sides so the plant gets wider. The plant then will start to grow back upwards to the light. But as I said it doesn't appear you have any horizontal room left.

You could defoliate, but I would wait until you have some defined preflower sites going. That way you can determine which fan leaves are blocking light to those bud sites. Keep in mind you don't have to defoliate either. There are proponents on both sides of that discussion lol. Defoliation will allow better airflow through the canopy and also expose those bud sites to more light. Good luck with whatever route you decide to go, the plants look awesome!

looks good, i waited too long on my 1st go this second go im training and topping asap not wait too long

Hahahahahah ... wow same here... I just didn't want to hurt her ... who would have thought that bending it would help it. Next Run ... im going to start "lite" LST. LOL at about 3 nodes and if 12 - 12 @ 4 weeks.

Wait until after the stretch to defoliate anything unless height is an issue. If done before it can severely stunt vertical growth.
Turned enough 50" plants into 24" ones by mistake to figure that out...

I’ve moved away from topping , unless a plant is stretching too much. But the way I see it u can bend the plant or literally cut off its main head
Both get the same result one way hurts the plant and takes longer to recover

Hey .smoke good to hear from you. But how will I know when when the stretch is complete... is it a time frame (weeks into flower) or sight? Today starts the second week of fkower.... and i think i can already see flowers developing...

dont think u wanna touch it if its flower as to not shock it and not let buds grow. could be wrong, idk. on the bag seeds i had i just kept up with it and anything that was blocking bud sites i would either tuck or every now and then take a few leaves off. maintenance is key. i got some fems in now so will take good care to keep it tight and lollipop eventually
