i have 2 2month old plants that im planing on switching to 12/12 ina bout a week. and i have been having trouble finding more seeds, so when i ran across a super silver haze seed i hurried up n germinated/put in soil and didnt think about what to do when i switch to 12/12 ina week lol im thinking of just leting the 2 older plants veg for another month or 2 and flower all 3 at the same time. but my friend told me that if you veg a plant to long after it shows pre flowers it will turn hermi. is that true.
in your opinion should i build a setup ina different room for the seedling, or wait and flower all 3??

You Can veg for years, But if you put a plant that has vegged for that long into flower you need to have the space to do so... Here is just a thought but what if you were to keep those plants or at least one for a mother and not have to be worried about seed s anymore? That could be a blessing in it's self... Good luck
 
They won't turn hermie no matter how long you veg them. Like BigBongs said think about room, if you veg them for another 2 months they will be monsters. They will double or triple in size. It's always best to have a separate veg area.
 
theres no real way of predicting hermie but like big bong said think about grow space.ur lite maybe too strong for ur seedling as well.personally i would veg the lil one separate but if u dont have that option then go for it buddy but ur veggin the lil one kinda short and pushin the big ones too late, depends on ur lights i suppose.
 
All u need is a few cfls. Veg it in a rubbermaid tub. Or if space is an issue. Start it at 12/12 with the rest. Its gonna get big anyway. I used to start 12/12 from seed bexause of space issues. I could only pull 3/4 to 1 off them. I tought of them as autoflowers. Good luck! Smoke well...
 
well space is not a problem.heres a few pics of the closet i grow in. ill b adding lights as the seedling gets bigger

i vegged my pineapple express till she showed her preflowers and she dint HERMIE. so i think ur friend dont know what he or she is talking about.. i think im gonna veg all my plants from now on till they preflower cuz i want them all to turn into huge 4-5 foot plants..
 
man you got room out the ass i say make small vegg room and then keep the plants in their take clones and sex them and then clone aND GROW FOR A SEA OF GREEN BRO GL
 
well now that i kno it wont go hermi im pretty sure im goona let em vegg another 2 months and take clones, flower the 2 monster and SS haze and build a room for the clones downstairs.

i would much rather have the 2 plants vegg longer and become huge. i jus thought they would go hermi. i could build a veg box in the same closet for the clones if i get it light proof so it dont mess with the flowering plants
 
Good idea. Keep em healthy and grow some pounds. There gonna be big, hope u gotta nuff light. Good luck tho...
 
im going to add probly 5 more sockets and have y joints on most of the sockets, so it will like double my cfls, i think ill b good on light. and i REALLY wanna make the super silva a mother plant if its a female, but bein sativa it will get like 6 feet tall right? maybe even taller? how would keep it small enough to fit?
 
Is that tin foil on the wall?
It causes hot spots that will burn holes in your plants leaves.... not to mention its like 10-15% reflective.
Pick up some mylar ($1.99 for an emergency mylar blanket at walmart) its a lot more reflective closer to 80-95%... and distributes the heat evenly so theres no hot spots.
