Can anyone please tell me why the seeds are in the fridge? Are these some rare Apple tree crossover that needs to be seasoned for 3 months in the fridge?

LOL, it's a common place to store seeds. They say the cold temp keeps them viable for up to 10 years. Although it could be some kind of Apple tree crossover. 12-feet-tall-marijuana-plant-sm.jpg

Ah ok. I always kept them in mason jars but I guess I never had them for more than a year or so, before using, now that I think about it.
I keep them in mason jars as well but in the basement fridge crisper. I can be a bit of a glutton, I can only legally grow 4 plants but have probably 40 seeds consisting of probably a dozen varieties. Keeping the auto's for outdoor cottage grow and the photos for my 2 inside grows per year so I needed to be able to store for extended periods and all I read said that is the way to go. Than again I could be wrong, I do smoke allot. bongsmilie

I was the same way when I used seeds, you collect them like trading cards and trade them with the other kids lol. I do miss going seeds, the excitement of a new pheno is great. Having a stockpile is good, the seed sites are always under attack and there's no telling what the economy is going to do.
