WHAT TO DO WITH BLASTED BUD/TRIM?!

I used to pack 38 g i a tube use only one can of that power 5 butane. I know its not the norm around here from what ive seen but it was very nice results. With the blasted material id would save up and then do an qwiso run or compost

Its very easy
1.crook pot
2.2-3 ounces of trim depending how good the trim is!
3.4 sticks of butter unsalted butter sticks
4.water
5.candy thermometer very important need to keep your temps at 200 and you aalso nd some cheese cloths.
What I do is boil water in crock pot
Add 4 sticks of unsalted butter then grind your trim and add to water and butter you should reach 200 on your candy thermometer, boil for about 6 hours then take might nd extra hands for this part, after about 6 hours of simmering at 200 cut a nice size piece of cheese cloths and fold once or twice after letting it cool of strain trimming through cheese cloth into a tupper wear its going to be hot so go slow do this twice just to make sure you got all the trimming out cover and put in fridge till morning you will have all the butter form on top of the water that's it.Good luck hope I explained everything.pop the butter off the top and throw black water away.one more thing don't let it get to cool when straining I usually strain it right away don't give other a chance to cool down to much a min. Or two.

i just try not to waste.. and wen i run nug runs.. i always rewash the material with a hexane soak.. used for edibles topicals or capsules.. the topicals we made last time gave my friends mom so much relief from her arthritis without having to get stoned.. shes in love with it . and it was from stuff.. that MOST PEOPLE toss in the trash? so why not i give her great deals on a hugeee bottle.. and it would have been trash anyways.. extra money means.. EXTRA EQUIPMENT or FUN TOOLS TO MAKE MORE EXTRACTS OR FILTERING OR WINTERIZING EQUIPMENT. its a hobby that turns into an addiction.. and addicts .. dont waste SHIT.
 
Compost pile. If your extraction was done properly there shouldn't any trich heads left. Even when making Ice Wax you can look through the left overs with a micro scope and see one important thing missing... The resin head which is everything you want.

Look, I made this thread for people to know what to DO with blasted bud. I don't need opinionated people who don't even make BHO telling people to flush useabe material here. Since you're a ice wax maker, I'd suggest educating yourself a bit about butane extractions.
I'm here to figure out if my making edibles with my blasted bud is a good idea and/or if I can do something that is maybe more efficient or if I should be using it at all. You clearly suggests that I don't use it at all but you don't have any evidence to back that up... or do you?

A friends girl friend takes the blasted bud/trim we produce and soaks it in a jar of Everyclear(just enough to soak it) for about a week. Then she strains it into a pyrex mixing bowl with coconut oil and shea butter. She rests the bowl in hot water(to soften the coconut/shea butter) and mixes it throughly.

My dad who has rhumetoid arthritis SWEARS by this salve. He rubs it into his aching joints and muscels. The everclear extracts all the cannabinoids that hide in the actual plant material and that aren't found in BHO(the reason bho gets you blasted, but the high isn't as well rounded as smoking flower)

be careful-the salve is still pychoactive. Not enough to give a regular smoker any type of buzz what so ever, but my dad will become very sleepy when he uses it as a muscle rub over a large portion of his body. I would NOT give it to a child or anyone who doesn't smoke(or isn't aware of it's ingredients).
 
^to add on the that if anyone hasn't tried a potent salve your missing out! The same receipe I mentioned above starting with quality flower and trim rubbed on the skin is VERY intoxicating. I just recently 'greened' out for the first time since I was like 13 because I never tried the potent salve and didn't think rubbing it into my forearm was going to have the effect it did...boy was I wrong! My friends gf has really bad asthma and even her vaporizer was getting hard to smoke. She makes tinictures and salves now, and damn can it be some potent stuff.
 
I've run a packed tamisium column twice. First run was as expected, second run was not worth the effort and was def not quality. Yield from the second run was maybe a gram and it wasn't pleasant.
 
I wouldn't think cooking with something that has been soaked in butane would taste very good?

Sometimes I do a scond blast if I really think it's good material
Grind and pack again usually get about half of what he first run was.

This should have went in the concentrates and extracts section .....
 
Too many chemical changes occur from blasting that I can't imagine the left overs would make any type of suitable lotion/butter/compost/tincture safetly.

if I INSISTED on doing something with it, I would add it to melted candle wax and make myself some nice fragrant candles
