What to do with buds lightly affected with PM?

So this last grow i was not running a sealed room, 3 days of rain (80-90%RH) led to spots of PM, i increased airflow, heavily thinned the canopy, (scrog) bought a dehumidifier, and used skim milk 1/9 ratio. I certainly held the beast at bay, but to a certain extent, the damage was done, it was late flower when all that went down. That major thinning stalled my plants hard, my yield is crap because of it, the buds i do have, while not heavily infected, have it here and there.

How bad is it to smoke it when lightly infected? Can i safely, (or safer?) turn it into hash, dabs, or anything? What is my best option? My next run will be sealed from the start, so RH should not go much past 60%, and i will be looking into other preventative measures.

Thank you very much!

That's a tough pickle to be in, having mature buds get PM is something that I've dealt with as well. There's a few things that you can still do. There's plenty of various techniques and solutions to spray or dip the plants in. I had improper ventilation during the drying process once, and it caused major PM. I trimmed as many large leaves as I could, and then dipped the whole plant in a product called Oxidate, shook as much excess water off as I could and cranked the heaters up in the room to make sure the buds weren't sitting there wet. I lost some frost for sure, but it really did kick the PMs ass, and I was able to trim it up and have it look real nice with no signs of powder. Big pain in the ass process, but surprisingly it worked.

PM is nasty stuff to smoke for sure bro, I wouldn't recommend it.

Yeah i saw someone recommend hydrogen peroxide/water dip, or something like that. My buds are already in the curing jars, can i still dip at this point? Or should i wait till after the cure, so i don't mess that up, then dip, and dry? If that is not possible, would it be safe to blast some dabs with it?

Thanks man!

IMO take the experience from this situation and only smoke what you know for sure doesn't have mold on it ......it sucks hella bad but I'm sure deep down you know the answer to smokin mold .....better luck next time

I have been thinking about giving the whole crop a peroxide dip, then blasting the whole lot into dabs. When harvesting/trimming i cut away all the visibly affect parts, so would doing the above be me best bet? My guy who does my dabs said as long as i do a peroxide dip before, it will be fine, is this true?
