What To Do With It?

Well, this actually turned out for the best as I get to dial in my new cabinets. This lady was given to me in very bad shape. She had stretched something horrible due to improper light and had begun to flower or atleast show preflowers. I put her in my veg cabinet for a week and then moved her over into my flowering cabinet. I took out the top of my hydro system as it is hard plumbed and set the pot down in it for now.

So then I fed her last night PH 6.8 nutes at 400ppm and she's looking like this...

I noticed the new growth last night has been slightly light green and had a slight curl or "claw" shape to them, I read this could be from the light being to close so I went ahead and lifted it up. After looking at the situation a second I was worried about overall height so I went ahead and tied her down alittle. Will this be o.k. or is it going to harm or stunt the plant? Also I think it might have been over watered previous to my getting her so I've been waiting till the top inch of the soil is dry to feed.
I just got the cabinets built and then was given this mystery plant so it will be good to learn with. I also want to see if my clone is going to work so I would like to take some cuttings in the future. So when would be a good time to do that.

Looking forward to some input...

6.8 is pretty high for ph. Bending her over is fine it will allow for the undergrowth to get more light and fatter bud sites on the lower branches. Don't know alot about cloning so I'm not gonna bullshit you about that. Best of luck.

6.8 is pretty high for soil? What would you recommend? I thought I read that it was between 6 and 7 but if there is a magic number to shoot for I would be down for hitting that mark. Suggestions, comments, damnations?

IMHO is would try to keep it around 6 your not that far off

Kk..thanks the lights are fixing to come back on and I"ll look in on her tonight and see how she is fairing. So let me get this correct I should water approx. every 3 days with a PH of around 6 and then use the gallon of nutes I mixed once every other watering?
Or can I just water with it and make more as I go?

Usually water with nutes every water just test your PPM. After a little while you will start seeing results from your girls i would only run plain water once a month for flushing excess out.

Ok i'm running a DWC so that being said i don't want to give out any bad advice i did some research on soil growing and came across this badass chart hopefully it will be helpful. Best of luck with her.

Thanks for the info Suspendedinair as the chart is very informative. She seems to be looking better every day so we'll she how she fairs as time passses. I plan on growing in a low pressure aero system but was afraid to try and move it over so late in it's life I thought it mght kill it.
Accorrding to the chart it seems best uptake would be right around a PH of 6.5 to 7 guess this is what I will shoot for.
Thanks for the help I don't know much about soil either as almost all of my research has been into hydroponics...

Update time....just checked my trichs one more week with nutes then switching to 2 weeks plain water.

Well she is putting on alot of new growth and seems to be pretty happy except she is still alittle light colored and has alittle bit of the claw going on still. I don't think it is a nute deficeicy unless it is still recovering from it's original condition.
I think it is because there cabinet is not cycling enough air during the off period, I don't think I have ever heard it come on. So I ordered a 6in inline booster fan to push air out of the veg box and into the flowering cabinet. I'm also going to alter the light cycle for the veg box to be like 18 on so that during the off period for the flower box the heat from the veg box will push over and make the main fan come on. Ofcourse, I had to put a thermostat in the veg box (still need to get from local lumber supercenter). I hope this will help liven it up somemore.

Any other thoughts? Suggestions? Cristisim? Tear the damn thing out and throw it away (laughs) ?

Taking updated pictures tonight and started a thread on temps and air exchange to hopefully shed some more light on the subject. Not to mention I would like to pull something off of her and not totally bum her out.

As promised here is a pic from tonight. I can see the resin being produced but it quickly seems to dry up and go away?! I was hoping for some frostiness.

Wish I had a Macro lens but tapped out as they go for 1 to 1.5k perhaps one day....
This Nikon D700 still takes one hell of a picture. I can zoom in with photoshop if someone wants a closer look...

Thoughts? Ideas? Damnations?

Also it seems to only have 3 leaves vs. the 5 I see on other plants is this due to genetics. stunted growth, nute def.?

With the added air circulation in the cabinet during the off ours seems to be helping with resin production as I can see it in some of the same places it was yesterday. The leaves all still look and feel alittle dry. The bud production seems to be putting on well, I'm just worried the 'claw' will get worse
I've set the lamp at 16 to 18in from the top of the plant is this far enough or do I need to get even farther?

Well the fan leaves are almost translucent now It seems to be really putting on the leaves and bud but the claw and color of some of the leaves is concerning me. I got a larger fan to circulate the air within the caninet but could this be a hardwater problem? I"ve been using R.O. water so wasn't sure if I needed to add epsom salt to prevent nute lockout. The water has been runnin at 120-150 ppm at an PH of 6.0. Pics to come shortly
