What training method for multi plant set up(80 5 gallon buckets)

Good day my peoples,

I am starting a new RDWC grow with 80 5 gallon buckets. I want to do some training but super confused.
I plan to have a tomato cage around each bucket. So far I will FIM, but should I:
put a grid on the top of the cages and SCROG or should I LST or both.
i plan to grow the plants 3 feet high before I put them into flowering, (is this to big)? My buckets are about 18inch apart?

Place a screen 12-18 inches above buckets and lst until they reach the screen then start scrogging. 3 feet veg is huge

All depends on how you plan on growing.If your scrogging you keep vegging until the screen is over half full. 80 buckets are u serious...holy shit dude!!

I just dont think you realize how much extra work it will take to do that. Just the amount of time it will take to trim and end up with less yield i proved to myself when i went from 21 plants to 12 in the exact same area. My yields increased and my trimming time was cut tremendously. If you have the space for 80 buckets then you need to grow trees, not shrubs. How much light and in what size space is this grow?

2 foot veg after plants get buds run wire around them tight so they stand straight up put 6 mature plants under 1000 watt hps but put lights in a line makes a huge difference what ac unit you using you need a 38000 btu min it will be on 12 hours a day, your electric bill wow wee 25 a day just flower and 750 month abouts . . im paying fucking over 1k a month bull shit

12000 for 80 buckets is about half of what you need to do a bucket grow like that. Consider another method or at least be open to some realistic ideas.

I agree with SS if u have the room u can get better results with just a lil training and supercropping. All depends on how u wanna do it. How much room and light is the main thing

Thank you, my last grow I did 36 buckets under 6 1000, I achieved 7 lbs dry, could I have done better? The plants were about 3.5 feet tall when completed

A "good grower" can get 1 gram per watt. so with 6000W a "good grower" could get 6000 grams or around 14lbs. It's debatable what a "good grower" means, but if the 1 gram per watt rule is true you could double your yield. BTW, number of plants doesn't necessarily mean more yield. Depends really.

I pull 2+ pounds every three weeks from 12 plants under a 1000. When i had 21 plants in same area i was lucky to get 22-24oz.
