What type of humidifier do you use?

Seams I’ve had a few discussions about humidity in the past bit.

I currently run a wick style humidifier. Plumbed into the RO water. It’s works but would like to get to even higher RH levels. As the digital controller only goes to 65%.

how are guys liking ultrasonic humidifiers or warm mist?
Looking for something small that has no wick.
would like to be able to set levels of 75-80%.
Perhaps something that needs a independent controller?

I’ve heard that with ultrasonics and warm mist you get white dust on stuff if you done use RO water.

any recommendations?

I struggled with humidifiers , couldn’t keep up % , ran out constantly, shitty little filters that got gross fast etc so I eventually broke down and saved to shell out a ridiculous amount on my ideal air but I no longer have any problems with humidity

Imo you won’t find something “small” that will maintain that without being filled multiple times a day unless your in a shoebox or can fashion a res

65% is the highest I go and never felt I needed higher. What size is the space?
3x3 tent.
I can’t get above 55% in my tent. As I have the humidifier in the room the tent is in.
When plants are small and I can fit the humidifier in the tent I can get up to 60-65%.
Would like to get to 70-75% so I can match VPD at 82*F

How do you like the ideal air.

I have the 75 and I love everything except the price lol . I needed something I could hook up to a source or res because nothing I could find in box stores could make it through a day

75-80 is asking for troubles like WPM, you do not really need that. Even if you match your VPD your plants wont grow two times faster. Controling environment is easier in slightly bigger space than in grow tent, so you need to close your lung room and rise the humidity in there. Question is if it worths risking mold on walls at 80% RH?

I currently use this one and it last about two days it's a 15 litre.Actually looking to upgrade to an ultra sonic cool mist one from Amazon

Dose the using come on after a power outage. Or dose it default to off when the power comes on.

I like to be able to try a higher humidity. See how it goes. I got lots of air flow.

To be honest i haven't had an outage since getting it.thats a good question. It doesn't have an on off switch just the plug. Mines hooked up to an inkbird now used to use an analog push button timer
