What u guys think about effectiveness in my room

Hey im a firstimer indoors, My flowering box is 4dx6wx9h running 600 w hps cool hood overhead, 400 w cool tube vertical. Its lined with mylar i run at most 6 .3 amp fans 2 for the cool lamps 2 for the ghetto carbon filter and two to mover air from bottom to top. there are 5 plants one is over 5 foot alien bubba, two are 2 foot headband and blue dream og, then there are 2 one footers king louie and la con.

Do i have enough power with these lights to flower all the way threw? A local hydo store owner swears that 400 and 600w dnt have the intensity to flower alot of strains how do u guys rate the set up as far as probability of good harvest

and by vertical i mean horizontal splitting the box sideways... what u think of this idea?

IMO thats enough light for 5 plants. No clue what the guy at the store was thinkin.
im growing 6 right now under 1000w hps. one is 6' one is 4' and the others are 5'

his point was that 600s stacked doesnt produce enough intensity, anyone experiencing good results wit 4s n 6s?

I think what the guy at the store may be saying is that your plants are to tall for a 600 or 400, the lower buds wont get the light to form good buds,I use a 400 in a small room and grow some good smoke with decent yields I keep my plants all the same hight with the use of some chicken wire on a frame

yeah this first grow is an experiment the bubba just happened to survive beta 1 2 and 3 of the box. if enough people assure me that the 600 w overhead and 400 w horizontal combo will give me large yeilds good quality ill wait another rotay for 1000ers. he says they wont take anything to good flowers
