But op, yes. That is a piece of junk for $230. Do not waste your money on that.
To me it seems like either peeps love the led or they hate em...I can only base my opinion off pictures of grows..I kno hps and mh lighting has been around long time n been the pros choice but here is my thing about it, because those other lights have been around for so long peeps been able to perfect How to grow under them light so because led is a newer technology things r still in trial n error mode maybe? Now wat about the pics I've seen of crazy ridiculous plants with some of the nicest looking buds n huge yields? How can that be junk? I understand led doesn't get the best light penetration but I'm not gonna be starting a opporation just a closet grow wit 9 plants...I already got 7 cfls 6 of which r 23w 1 is 43w all different color temps I also have 2 18inch floresent tube fixtures that hold 2 tubes apiece I'm gonna be installing...so my thinking is if I go wit the UFO light that will give me the other light bands other then red n blue that I feel r important to yield potency and over all plant health...to me n I'm no pro at growing just a tiny tiny fish in a HUGE sea mh n hps is restricting to just red n blue spectrum which r important but there is much more out there that influence the over all plant heathyness..Plants don't just use red n blue so why only restrict urself to em???
