I have a pack and if I can get them to pop I will make F2's. My understanding is ISS is a mega polyhybrid, but his description sounds about right (I've smoked the clone that goes around BC and is very popular quite a lot). Not sure how stable the line is. Curious to see.

Island Sweet Skunk in veg and then near chop.


The one in the middle there is ISS and Sheisel I guess a couple of weeks into flower. Next up is Sheisel



It's funny, I used to lurk RIU hard back 5 years ago when I grew these... Damned if I would register, much less post pics. Still about to have an anxiety attack lol and I'm not even growing right now. I yearn for the day I can be open and honest about what I do, I'm not a criminal...

Those are some real beauties you got there. Love me some ISS. Such a unique smell. You sound just like me a few years ago lol. Why post when everything you'll ever need to know is already on here. Unless of course you are looking for a certain cut like I am, then you get desperate and post pics lookin for it. Anyways.....on subject, LA Con is a great plant/smoke. Grows like a run away horse in hydro when given good nutes (shes a big eater) finished prod didn't have the most eye catching colors (brown hairs, darker green) but the frost was good and the smell and taste upon cure are what makes the LA Con so special in my opinion. Careful thought the plant morphs from a short stout indica during veg to a stretchy beast tree upon flip.

The ISS was more of a piney/citrus minor lung expanding smooth toke. Somehow reminded me of some Sensi Star I had years back. I suck at flavor descriptions and it's been a long time. I do remember it being a very up and clear headed high, but didn't cause me any noticeable anxiety, no heart racing. The Sheisel was straight up sour grapefruit fuel funk. The odor/flavor would be stuck on your fingers and your tastebuds for lengthy periods. Wouldn't call it couch lock, but did have a nice body thumping or wave effect. I ended up flowering other phenos of these, but didn't come across the traits again. Those were the first two real genetics I ran after my first cycle of 3 bagseeds, I just ended up getting lucky and not knowing what I had at the time. Hopefully I can have some blind luck here in the future as well!

That sounds lovely! I've always wanted to try true sensi star. I have a delicious critical sensi star that I would like to run. Is Paradise the original breeder?

I was just lucky enough to score a bag of Sensi Star at one time, never grew it out, not a bad idea though. It had a flavor I couldn't forget. ISS reminded me of it. Just love me some flavorful flowers.
