To these people liberal democracy is like cancer, they know what it means in the end, that the meek shall inherit the earth. They know that more and more minorities will be included and empowered over time, this is what liberal democracy does, it is corrosive to the old order because it invokes and promotes social change and adaptation, change is another thing they hate.
