What would my YIELD look like with this....

I know your thinking "Light, nutrients, heat, humidity, Co2...bla bla bla all goes into how much you yield"

Im an ex soil guy, going into my second run with my ebb an flow.

My temp, humidity, and light are fine. 75F day and night, 50% humidity all the time, Rez stays around 65-75F.

HydroFarm comercial T5 for veg, the 4ft w/ 8 tubes. 600w Lumatek w/ BlockBuster Hood for flower.

Okay here is the question; How much could I ultimately yield doing this:

-6 2gal SmartPots filled with hydroton, Botanicare nutes.
-I would veg them 1.5 week or until they are 10-12in tall which ever comes first WITH NO TOPPING.
-Then I would of course flower them out... not much to say here

I FULLY UNDERSTAND A PLANTS METABOLISM, and what my strain needs.

I just never completed a hydro grow, and I NEVER grew a plant in such a small container with such a short veg time.

HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK I COULD GET WITH THESE 6 PLANTS, My strain is White Widow crossed with a secret plant. My strain is a very large producer and hates to be topped.

So with a normal good producing plant what do you think i could get with 6 2gal pots.

Safe to say 2-4 zips a plant. So 12-24oz. If everything goes right. Less if you secret plant is a og. More if it's a sativa but long flower time. There is to much to say without knowing the other genetics involved.

Hey man It's deff not OG it's another great indica. I have a warlock clone.... It would be a SCROGing machine, very flexible, smells like strawberry, and has a purp stem. Does that sound like THE warlock to ya? Also do you have any reasons I should keep this plant

10-12" tall, 1-1/2 week veg, not a heck of a lot of light for that many plants. im just giving you real world experience you can like what you want but you have to face reality. i grow aero and dwc only, i veg for 3-4 weeks depending on strain(i have 14), and when they go to flower they are at least 20" and they get 3000 watts of hps. i average 3.5oz per plant per harvest, some less and some more but without even knowing your strain(i have had most of mine for 4+ years) you are expecting a lot.

DUDE! Check your Grams Per Watt ! My table is 2x3ft= 6sqft! That's 100w per sqft with a 600 hps, umm that's a shit load of light!

600w should equal 600grams if you can achieve 1GPW, which you should or you are wasting light, energy, space, and your valuable time. I used to get .37grams per watt of light in a tent with two 600w hps. So I only yielded 37% of what i should have... I should have gotten 1200grams as I was using 1200watts of light.

Thats 62% waisted spase, light, energy, $$$, nuts, an my time.

Artificial light is really only affective for 2.5 feet max, it's all about how lumens exponentialy decreases every foot bro!

So unles your SCROGing, only grow your plants no bigger then 1.5 ft for veg as it will close to double after your 12/12 has been flipped. That's how thick, resin covered, heavy nugs develop.

3000w is rediculas unless you room is 54 sqft.

Thanks to all, I knew the info after all, I should get 600grams that's 100 grams per plant in 2gal smart pot w/ hydroton. That's if I ace it.

6 plants with a week and a half of veg should yeild anywhere between .75 oz-3.5 oz per plant depending on the stress level of the grow and the genetics.

What strain were you doing this with?

One thing with hydro i have noticed with all the sativa's i grow is that the stretch is usually quick and aggressive. I recommend performing super-cropping on the branches just a few days into flower, Not required but if done correctly it will increase the yield.

With just the 600w light i would grow them toping once prior to flower, 2 main colas per plant giving you 12 colas.

The 3.5 oz per plant would need a super yielding indica to be possible with just the 600w.

Your saying I would get 56 GPW, maybe... I'm thinkn I'll at least get 21oz. I'll post picks, ya'll think I have no hydro experince because Im ex soil. Well I never really used soil, it was always botanicare's Ready Mix... Pretty much coco with perlite. I have always used liquid nutes, PHed, Kept precise PPM levals. Just because I didn't have an automated system to water them for me doesn't mean "no hydro experience". It just means I was the sub-pump delivering nutes to my plants for the first 3 yrs of growing.

You said you never completed a hydro grow.................3.5 per would be close to a G a Watt,I hope you do it just think your expectations are a little high.I didnt my first and still dont get 3.5 per every grow very strain dependent
IMO.Anything over 2.5 per is fine with me.

i average 3.5 per and i dont do it with only 1 week veg lol, if you have never transplanted to hydroton then you are going to see virtually no growth for the first week. friend of mine ran 24 under a 600 with a few weeks veg and got roughly 20 zips which is a great yield but he did have 24 under the light. i have grown white widow quite a few times so i can say unless your "secret strain" is that of the big bud verity your going to get nowhere near what your expecting but hell prove us wrong and lets see some one week vegged 3.5 oz plants:)
