What would this timer be called?

i am looking for a timer than can run my exhaust for 1 minute every 5 minutes. I know the equipment will not last as long running like this but due to temperatures i can not run 24/7 half the year. so i was just trying to cycle the room air once every 5 minutes allowing the AC or Heat to keep temps adjusted when i need them to.

Sounds like you need a thermostat to control the fan.

average it out and run your exhaust fan for 15 minutes for every hour. Then you can get an inexpensive timer with push stops every 15 minutes.

I keep my air purifiers, dehumidifiers and bigger circulation fans setup like that to get more periodic high flow and to manage electric costs.
