What would you do with $1M?

buy some property WAY the heck away from the city.. would not spend more then about 400k on house and prop.. rest goes into an account in which I will live off the interest. Pretty sure I would still live like a cheap ass.. shopping at target and dollar store.. damn how I would like to walk into the dollar store will a mil.. I'd strut too..
 
Id make sure I never had to work again. Make some low risk investments and pull $400-$500 a week and keep living how I do now then open a bar after I get bored of not doing anything for a year or two.

no seriously I would pay off the mortgage of several family members and friends houses. I would by myself a modest ranch. I would not keep my job.
And I would walk into every former job I have had and quit with a wad of cash in my hand unannounced and scream

And a 6.5mm beanfield rifle to make sure nobody has security lights near the hill with the observatory shack on it.

First I would be a little sad because the struggle keeps things in motion.

Then I would be a little happy because I could pay off mortgages for the really close circle.
