What Would You Do???????

I have been doing some math and was wondering something?
Would you run an individual exhaust system for each room or what?
If you had a double ended reflector you could suck air through the hose and get fresh air to the bulb from the open hole.
Cant wait for the drawings.

This is how I'd do it... or something similar to how the drawing is done.

This is just rough ideas here I want to point out, I guess this could be done with any number of lights, from 1 to 10 just as long as they are properly supported and everything else.

Now, I put on the pic "metal frame"

You can just fab up something with angle iron or something or you could even use 2x4s or whatever you want.

I guess instead of having 3 tracks, I'd rather see 2 tracks for the lights with a frame holding the lights/exhaust etc. It'd be pretty simple.

For the wall you could mount the rails on each side and then a pulley @ the top and then mount a winch to the system...

fuck it, i'll draw a picture.

check this one out tho... for the exhaust

So am I getting this right. Build a solid half wall in the middle of the room. Then there is another walf wall that goes up and down mating to it. When the timer goes off the half wall goes down allowing the lights to cruize int the other room. Then another timer goes off and the wall goes back up to block the light. Construction of this would be easy just wish I was good with little motors. I can see myself spending hours with those.
I don't think of it exactly like a half wall...more like a window that will slide open, then allow the lights to cruise through, then shuts. :) all by itself.

Okay so here is another pic...

mad paint skills. :)

Check it, so I figured, hey why not have a safety thing for the lights....so you know those little laser sensors they use for the garage doors (The door goes back up if you walk under it while it is moving down. Put that in the wall so unless the beam is connected, it won't allow the switch to open to move the lights :?

maybe?

Here is another pic of the wall setup.

You'll need to cross reference between the last couple pics to get the idea i have for the winch and such.

Ok so you have the exhaust permanatly connected to the lights all the way to the wall.
When the track moves the fan is pulled off the main vent line and moved accross into the next room. then the fan is pushed into place by the track and viola...exhaust.
COOL.

If you have fan mounted where it's going to connect like in the picture pulling air from the lights, then if you have another fan in the rest of the system that is pulling the air when they slide next to each other, they should create a nice little exhaust
