What would you do?

They are lst into 6-8 tops each but still potential room for lower branches to reach up and are ready to flip now on a scheduled.

What and why would you do these options (or another not mentioned)

A: During the first 2 weeks of flower continue light lst to encourage a few lower branches to the top.

B: Don't lst any more, wait out a little of the stretch and then gradually cut off side branches that are below 3/4 of plant size (or some variant). Keeping on ALL lower fan leaves.

C: Same as B but instead of cutting off side branches just remove lower budding sites and keep the branch leaves.

D: Do nothing

Hi flowki,

A picture would be most helpful! As a general principle I would pick option 'a', get as many tops developed as possible while keeping as many fans to power the growth as you can. It's very hard to say without being able to see the height of your plants and the space you have available. Also the strain you run, does it stretch? What light are you using, how much light penetration, what light footprint. Without this info it is hard to make a reasoned judgment!

A pic is not possible sorry. They will be around 2 - 2.5 foot tall in a 6ft^2 area 8plants. Currently the canopy will not be filled in (maybe 70%) so I was wondering the pros and cons. If I leave them as is more light will be able to get to mid/lwer level but I don't know if that will be better than getting as much up to top especially having to achieve that with more lst during first weeks of flower?.
