if I had 1 cut of buhhda cheese an veged for 5-10 days then 12-12 I would expect maybe half oz.+100=50 oz=3.2 pounds.thats in soil not sure what your system is:bigjoint:dont sound good for 4 600s

Go no less then 8 days! Max of 12....

3-4 lbs should be just about it and more strain dependent....

I like @thumper60's answer, he's done this too.

Wow thanks for all the replies I am currently on icmag and never get no answers on there I'm roll it up all the way now So back to the question in hand thanks thumper 60 and yea that was what I was sort of aiming for about a half oz a plant. I am running a NFT hydro system for the first time as I normally do soil. I am worried about how tightly they are packed together and maybe I should put less in the trays ????? Breakdancer I wish it looked like that at the end lol is any one else have experience with Nft systems on here ??? Thanks

10 million pounds lol, I run a 32 site aero system under a 1 k hps light and pull around 1 kilo every 55 ish days. granted my system is highly dialed in and has been running for years. It is far to difficult to make any kind of educated guesses about quantity . Your just going to have to run it and see, then once it is going ok then try to tweak things to improve on that number :) BB

Budget buds I am a newbie to hydro and By the sounds of things you have some experience with it I was hoping to get some pointers on hydro system I'm not sure if you read the whole thread but I am running NFT system and I am unsure of how to top up the res as they drink the water do I use plain water or half strength nutrients and how often to change out complete tank any info would be greatly appreciated thanks

I can give you an example of what I usually run in my very basic of hydroponic systems.
5 gal buckets with 6" netpots grown in Hydroton.
Constant feed drip ring system (when lights are on).
For VEG:
I use "Grow Big" Hydroponic by FoxFarm approx 2 ml per gallon
1 ml per gallon of "CaliMagic" cal/mag solution by General Hydroponics
1 ml per gallon of 'Ginormous" by Humboldt Nutrients
Ph'd water @ 5.4-5.6 (with anticipation of some ph rise before next res topoff)

For PREFLOWER:
I use "Grow Big" Hydroponic by FoxFarm approx 2 ml per gallon
1 ml per gallon of "CaliMagic" cal/mag solution by General Hydroponics
2 ml per gallon of 'Ginormous" by Humboldt Nutrients
Ph'd water @ 5.4-5.6 (with anticipation of some ph rise before next res topoff/change)

For FLOWER:
I use "Grow Big" Hydroponic by FoxFarm approx 1 ml per gallon
1 ml per gallon of "CaliMagic" cal/mag solution by General Hydroponics
3 ml per gallon of 'Ginormous" by Humboldt Nutrients
Ph'd water @ 5.4-5.6 (with anticipation of some ph rise before next res topoff/change)

2 weeks prior to harvest cut all nutes in half.
Last week of flower-run just straight water.

Very simple and very cost effective with great results. With hydro, a little does a lot. My ppm's rarely ever exceed 500-ish.

As for res changes, some do them and some dont.
I'll do a complete changeout from veg to flower.
I just top off with nuted solution for whatever photoperiod it is in, then add water to dilute on my last 2 weeks of flower then complete changeout to just water on the last week.
May not work for everyone, but it works perfect for me.
