whats a ballast

A ballast is what powers your bulb. They have magnetic and electronic ballasts. That link you provided is a full setup with ballast/reflector/bulb so that would be plug and play.
 
Not a horrible system u might find one a little cheaper but u get. What u pay for. Lumatek its the beez kneez imo. And like he said they have magnetic and digital. Digital is more efficient it runs cooler and claim 30% more output. Hope my eamblimg was somewhat coherent and maybe even helpful :joint:

i have roughly about £75-80 to spend on the full system.
ebay is my best bet, and thats the only 1 that looks good
