DNA genetics Rocklock is the best beginner strain no matter what medium or whatever...it grows super awesome and is hard to mess up...it is a super kickass plant if you know what you are doing too...but it will still be awesome for you if you mess it up...just not as awesome. I got one fem seed that is just such a super amazing plant...

It has a great yield with good smoke even if you mess it up, but the better you let it grow, the better the smoke...so try not to mess it up, but just relax knowing it is hard to mess up
I ordered my very first seed/strain on the description and how awesome it said the smoke was...at the very end it said to go easy on the nutes because she is sensitive...I have wrestled with this plant for 4 years almost and am just now getting good at growing her...but I have learned a lot in a short time because she gives even an experienced grower pause...gave one of my older retired friends a clone and he can and does grow just about anything-- but he messed up the clone I gave him... hardcore...I told him it would happen though...lol.
anyway about 2 years into feeling like a failure with this one hard strain I got back on and looked for a strain based on how easy to grow the description said it was and I found DNA Genetics Rocklock...which is funny cuz the hard strain is DNA Genetics C-13 Haze...lol. Anyway the Rocklock grows awesome and smokes great...it smells like really straight up skunk weed that has been lightly misted with diesel fuel and let dry...lol. I don't like the fuely part, but I have found that if I use Botanicare Sweet Berry during flower it takes away the diesel taste/smell leaving me with super skunky sticky awesome ness... so it is good even if you mess it up, and Super Awesome if you don't...so there

when youre a beginner , might stay away from sativa dominant or pure sativas, they take longer , harder to clone maybe, and they might need 14 hrs of dark to flower better I find. Indicas are everywhere because people like them, they have good flavor and potency, indicas flower faster and fatter, body high. sativas can be more energetic, of a high but take more work
