Have yet to grow outside so I decided to go on a limb and start this spring. I was wondering about a good strain that has a high yield and also a good smoke. Anyone have any suggestions? Was hoping to get 3-4 different strains. One Love :joint:

For your climate (cause I know) if you want high yield and good smoke Skunk#1 is kind of hard to beat because it is very hardy, handles cold and other bad conditions well, has killer yields, very reasonably priced, and great bag appeal. If you kill Skunk#1 you should not grow anything. Just don't grow it near any neighbors cause they will smell it.

I'll suggest some quick finishing sativas, a little different than the indica dominant strains that are usually grown outdoors.

.

I'd love to try Durban Poison outdoors, I've read reviews of guys saying the main stem gets as thick as a pop bottle. 8-9 weeks flower or harvest in September outdoors.

.

Texada Timewarp
is a BC outdoor/indoor strain: excellent, clean high/superb smoke and taste. Matures mid-late Sept. Big cash cropper.

.

For indica dominant Endless Sky by Dr Greenthumb would be great: potent, 42-45 days flower, large yielder.

.

Columbian Skies looks almost too good to be true, but I trust Greenthumb.

id go with skunk #1 too...id go with cheese though as it is skunk#1 + whatever they add to create seeds from it.

i agree with these suggestions and i would also add barney's farm, they will do especially well outdoors with lots of sun. laughing buddha actually is a happy high and the plant is resin heavy. their red diesel is also terrific.
barneys farm beans are also easy to find just check out the grow journals on the forums about them. i know the bigger banks like tude carries barneys so you can usually order in some special

Blue Dream will put out a shit ton out doors but she's not drought resistant at all. She loves all that sun where other strains can't fade it. Super potent and a big yielder with an 8-9 week flower period.

Hello. Last year I tried a new flavor. this year it will be my main type. Its Brains Choice from K c brains. The flavor is great. Its jamacian lambsbread crossed with white widow and ledo uno. The lambsbread flavor stands out .real smooth smoke. great buzz to. And last but not least tons of nugs, good size plant-fat.

Island Sweet Skunk

The Island Sweet Skunk (ISS) has been grown on Vancouver Island in BC for many years as a stabilized Sativa-Skunk cross. The ISS has sugary fat buds with long, thick hairs that turn golden orange after the 6th week. Tall vigorous growth with a dramatic increase in bud density for the last 3 weeks of it's flower cycle. This strain has been tested at 19.6% THC when finished, making it a major favourite amongst the medical community, as it takes less to properly medicate. Admired for its strong Sativa like high, the ISS has a very unique taste and odour that stands out from any other strain we've ever come across. typically finishing outdoor by late October, ISS is one of the main strains that gives BC a reputation as being a leader in the breeding of world class medical marijuana. For size & strength, ISS gives the best bang for the buck.
Flowering time: 60 to 70 days
