I use inline thermostats for all my grow areas. They can be changed from heating to cooling by opening them and flipping 1 wire. They are 100% water tight, I have been using these same units for 5 years almost. They are faded in color from being under HIDS

Here are a few shots of 2 of my units. They are 2 degree units, I set it at 24C, once it gets to 26C my fan kicks on, kicks off at about 23.4C ish. I know they are 100% water tight as I had a small flood issue and one of my units used for heating is mounted close to the ground, it was totaly under water for 5+ hours, works like brand new.
These units have 1 cord that comes out of it, that cord has a male and female adapter at the plug, you plug your fan into the thermostat adapter at the power bar and you are set.
