So I've been trying to think of a neat experiment to run that the community could benefit from but I can't really settle on something, just too many options and possibilities. I also want to be as scientific as possible even with such a small scale, goal is to really control and limit as many variables as possible in order to get the most reliable results.
My resources are as follows:
Seeds: 8 God's Green Crack by JOTI (4 were just added to water) 4 Lucky Seven by Provision Seeds and 2 NL Feminized by Dr. Atomic
Space: ~120 w LED cab has room for like one half gallon grow bag or a few solo cups and is set at 12/12
182 w CFL area is empty could fit 5 half gallon pots or about a dozen solo cups.
Nutrients: BioBizz Grow and Bloom and some 15-30-15 Miracle Grow, TDS meter to calculate exact ppms
Soil: FFOF, half a bag of MG perlite
Pots: 3 half gallon grow bags, 1 half gallon plastic pot. 2 gallon smart pot, solo cups, pringles cans.
Just a few ideas were to compare how plants grow in different pot shapes. So have a few vertical pringles cans vs horizontally laid out pringles cans vs normal pot of same volume. Simply could just compare LED vs CFL 12/12 from seed. Maybe hempy perlite solo cup vs soil (never tried hempy before seems interesting). Different training techniques. Have a bunch of other stupid ideas but I havent fallen in love with anything yet so thats where you guys come in.
Im open to any and all ideas willing to spend a little if theres some new products out there that you guys would like to see in action. May need to veg a little and get clones for more reliable results. Lets just brainstorm and see what we can come up with for a microgrow experiment. Lets HIGHpothesize!
