What's a simple nutrient package for beginners?

My last grow I was using Technaflora's recipe for success which had like which had like 4 extra additives in addition to the bloom mix and like a dolt, I used all of them as the chart suggested. My babies were healthy and vibrant in veg when I only used the veg booster but no sooner I switched to flowering and began to pummel them with all the extra garbage additives & the bloom formula, I got crunchy leaves...holes in my leaves...you name it man...it turned into a real mess which I'm sure was nute burn from overdoing it.

I figure for my next round I should heed the advice of some seasoned growers here on RIU and keep it as simple as possible with as few additives as possible and of course adding a TDS / EC meter to make sure my PPM is where it needs to be.

Any suggestions on an easy to use no frills nute package? I was thinking GH's series since it's only a 3 part package which seems pretty straightforward....any advice or suggestions folks?

There are probably very few nutrient copaneies who do not have these handfuls of additives and boosters included in their feeding shcedule charts. I've never followed charts, half the additives are utterly pointless unless you already have problems.

I currently use canna nutrients. They are cheap, effective and as simple to use as you would need. 2 parts for vegging, and then a different 2 parts for flowering. They will offer you lots of additives and extras but there isn't much need for anything more than these

If you truely want to keep it simple and have a 1 part nutrient complete with micronutrients , Get some DynaGro . For veg DynaGro Foilage Pro 9-3-6 and the Bloom formula .Lots of good grows using that on here .
Or get you some Jacks Classic . Those are the biggest 2 values for nutrient .

I use the 3 part GH series with great success in both hydro and some soil Ive done. You are gonna need a ppm meter if you plane on adding other additives so your ppm dont go over board, ( I think thats what happened in your last grow)

i like general organics by GH you can buy a starter kit with the whole line for like $30 they are only sample sized bottles but they'll last a grow

Not sure how "good," they are but I have nutes from Ionic. 3 for grow, veg and bloom I think. Fairly simple even for a starter such as myself. Also advised you only need to use half the recommended amounts apparently.

I'm definitly a Fox Farm grower from beging to end.

I really don't think there is much of a difference between products, as long as you follow the directions.
It makes problems easier to solve if one comes up.

Speaking as a beginner myself the simplest nutrient "package" or rather program is GH Micro/Bloom combo in dosages following the Lucas Formula.

I don't know if you use soil or hydro but they make a version for both. If you look around, you can try worm's way, you can find a sample pack with the grow and bloom in it, they also include other things, I would try to find a pack with their liquid karma in it, some of the sample packs contain their clearex not liquid karma. The sample pack will easily last you a grow or two, it's organic and you can probably find it with shipping for under twenty five bucks.
